Vijy Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Dhobi's batting in the closing overs is truly worrying - if there are 5-10 overs left, I'd rather Sir Jaddu walks out ahead. Rahane has also been quite poor, apart from that 1 sublime knock.

The problem is that he gets frustrated pretty quickly . Even today he was actually timing a lot better than Rohit in that partenership , but constsntly finding the fielders ...he needs to understand that these things happen & not let it affect his game . He is one of those classical player who plays in straight lines without involving too many wrist adjusted placements like Kohli, Sachin, Gauti, Even Rohit is like that. Rahane hits through certain conventional areas. If you block those areas he just gets stuck. if you look at Viru he treats the bat like a magic wand and adjusts the wrists to place the ball wherever he wants. Pujara also had the same issue.

Also, we were tested yes, but we were also bailed out by the opposition losing their heads than us doing anything extraordinary. After 32 overs, Ban totally lost the plot yesterday with their bowling changes, fielding, field settings etc. What proper Kohli Innings? He played well against Pak and has a 100 too.

They are throttling all teams. Only an ABDV special, or a repeat performance from Boult-Southee, could stop them from lifting the WC.

I am just talking to be realistic. Chasing in Australia is not easy that chasing big scores. Anything over 250 wont be easy with this thin batting line. People are talking about like we have chased lot of 300 scores in Australia. Reality is we have not. So people should please be real and dont imagine which has not happened or live in fantasies. This is just a fantasy talking about Kohli will come out and we will chase 300 against Aus in Aus.

Kohli has scored runs all over and I will take him over any fricking batsman in the history of the game in chases anywhere in the world and he will my number 3 in any world eleven.
