beetle Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 If Virat want to go now....make him play under Rohit Sharma now!!!! Rohit Sharma ---bad move but better than a captain who doesn't give a damn. Go Rohit Sharma:dance:......Make the Rat regret his decision.
Precambrian Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 So much for the 'sources' - fecking media jokers. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/icc-world-cup-2015/top-stories/Virat-Kohli-to-lead-India-in-Bangladesh-Test-Harbhajan-makes-comeback/articleshow/47354990.cms Virat to lead. SLICKR392 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Why Rohit? He's not even a regular in the Test squad Nevermind. Change the OT title
f.b.m Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 As much as the media, who've always been a bunch of scumbags, the problem is the fans who believed them and decided to enlighten us with their well thought out and considered opinions.
div Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 ^ even so called educated people blindly believe these media reports.:giggle:...nowadays I rarely watch news channels.
Gambit Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 As usual, the usual suspects here started their moral high ground posts and boring lectures berating Virat relying on half-baked apocryphal 'reports'.
Debutant Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 All those criticizing Virat please apologize :hitler:
adi B Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Nohit will do well at home(though doubt him against quality bowling) and hike is average by a good number in the next 2 years but I have serious issues with him for away tours. This guy's batting was nothing short of a joke in the test matches in saf, aus, nzl(barring that 71) ,his technique is very lose and he lunges forward for no real reasons,a massive candidate for outside edge if there is a hint of swing and seam. Ryan harris, dale steyn and hazlewood were owning him left right and centre and god knows how many times the ball went past his outside edge!!
India-KXIP fan Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015  Not a great decision but not the worst. -No good domestic spinners -Ashwin, Jadeja lack any penetration overseas, Bhaji at least did well in recent SA, NZ and WI tours he went on. -Most of next few years will be at home, Bhaji has a solid record at home and better away than other 2 -Still has few years left, max til 2018, next big away tour in SA where he has good record. Where Ashwin struggled to get 1 wicket. -BD have 6 left handers and he will turn ball away I wouldn't have picked Bhaji personally, but out of all the oldies this selection still made the most sense compared with Zak, GG, Viru. In his prime he was a great player. First 60ish tests. But like athlete's in any sport once the prime goes it goes, I think it probably has for Harbhajan. If he fails in next few games that should be that.
Cricketics Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Interesting. Pujara may be down at 6 now. What Rohit might go with depending on squad selected: Vijay Dhawan Rahul Rohit Rahane Pujara Rahane should be first down. Rest all can come later
