Champions Trophy win was the peak of Sir Jadeja where he could do no wrong. even after that in the Aus home test series he was on a special plane. Somehow after that he has been on a strange decline. you could rely on him to keep things tight and do something special from time to time. this IPL he was not even bowling his full quota and had hardly 1-2 performance of note. I can't figure out the reason for his bowling decline. His batting was never much but there is no improvement at all. it will be a joke if he continues to be in the Indian team

You never can judge a player accurately who is recovering after an injury. Malinga looked finished for months but now looks very good cos he has recovered. Bhuvi is looking better now than in Australia. Sometimes injury finishes you off but sometimes it just takes time to get back in. Jaddu was never a reliable T20 bowler. He wasn't given his quota even in WC T20 2014 so this is not the format I would judge him with. But yeah he has been toothless for a while now.

that is a drawback of the new indian team. none of the top order bowls at all.

Looking at Sir's performance in the IPL did he bowl extremely well on those designer turning pitches in Chennai. So as the T20 WC is in India and pitches are similar (i expect them to be on the flatter side) The thing is any bowler will go through a slump. In such a scenario his batting has to step upto the mark. I feel Sir will be better moving away from CSK. Batting at 8 is not doing him any favours. CSK too will benefit maybe with a proper frontline bowler.

Want to see Amith Mishra back in the squad. Skill wise, he is probably the best Indian spinner. His issue is all in his mind but I get a feeling he has been improving these days in that regard. Needs to given more chances.

Amit Mishra won't get a chance in Indian ODI and T20 till Dhoni is the captain, Dhoni has supported his CSK mates and Rhiti mates for years, so won't leave them now in his last year of cricket which will end with a debacle at T20 World Cup.

We all his selfish batting again in the finale of Ipl. Yes it was almost a lost cause but he never showed intent to hit the ball. Yes required run rate was 24 an over, but bloody hell loose with pride while trying to win. I have seen so many of his selfish innings where he never showed intent just cuz he was #7 batsmen and had the excuse that it was a lost match whenever run rate required is above 11. No wonder why after playing 130 Odis for India, HE ONLY HAS 1 MATCH WINNING FIFTY FOR INDIA. Afridi is 100 times better than his selfish guy. What irritates me is that his supporters think that we don't have better players in domestic.

Sourav watches and follows Indian cricket very closely.[/quote'] Jaddu is already thrown out of Test team as Virat kohli is the captain, i doubt Dada will fight over selections with Dhoni as Selections are decided by Team captain and selectors committee, besides Dada will know that Dhoni is done and will go away soon, so no need of kicking up a useless storm at this moment of time. Only thing is we will lose a T20 World cup for Dhoni and his CSK/Rhiti mates.

Mishra's only problem is confidence. With a captain like Dhoni, he keeps getting in and out of the team and that never helps a spin bowler, especially a leg spinner. Completely agree that he is the most skillful spinner in the country and should be given a longish run in the team.

problem with cricketers from villages is that they see little riches and relax immediately. munaf, irfan, jadeja all same story city kids are mostly hungry no matter how much they earn. over-generalization or anyone else feels the same way

Jaddu is an overhyped average player... He got the jackpot when he joined CSK and worked his way on Dhobi to become one of the trusted member of his coterie...
