According to India Today she was born out of wedlock from her relationship with a teacher in college named Chirag when Indrani was just a teenager. Apparently Mikhail told this to police. :WTF:

If Indrani and Peter were in relationship first ----> Sheena and Rahul would have been step brother-sister or aunt-nephew. Which ever way you look at it, they should have avoided getting involved romantically 2. If Sheena and Rahul were in relationship first ----> Indrani should not have got in to a relationship with Peter In this case, it appears as if all the people with "open" mind somehow got together which resulted in this terrible chain of events

It has to be about money or some other secret. They might not have approved the relationship but they are not idiots to jeopardize everything they have built for that. I would be very surprised if this was a case of honor killing. Besides honor killing is mostly a North Indian thing. None of them are North Indians. Also there is hardly any honor left if you look at their own past. Indrani for example has done everything in her life to gain fame and fortune. She was not going to risk that for honor.

Havent seen this news with interest but this drawing helps understand who is who. Note tht Sheena and Mikhail's surname is Bora but their father's surname is Das.

Probably born out of wedlock (it is said Indrani gave birth at 18 when dating a professor) Considering the complexity of Indrani's relationships, the family tree posted here may not be accurate

Everyone must have been knowing her as Indrani's sister only. Since Indrani was Indrani Bora before marriage, her sister Sheena would be Sheena Bora.

Indrani was Bora, her real name was Pori Bora, and It was told that Sheena was her sister, so, she was Sheena Bora.
