Shivaji bhonsle Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Till he gets his form back in domestic matches....Your views please...
FischerTal Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Nah. He's going through a bad patch. Genuine match winner, need to back him.
fineleg Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) If we omit all out of form(raina kohli dhawan), and then past-use-by-date (msd, harbjan singh), not fit for odi format (umesh, rahane), and injured (ashwin, shami), not a bad idea to play india-A vs SA Edited October 14, 2015 by fineleg

Deleted_User_1 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Drop all their asses! Start over with trundlers and FTBs!!!!! Ironhide 1
Gollum Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Trust him, he will come good. One of the few clutch batsmen left in our XI.
Ironhide Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Raina comes in at a difficult position to bat, so there are less opportunities for him and more chances of failing, will bounce back soon.
bowl_out Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 There was a Dhoni thread and he come good in the 2nd ODI...Now Raina thread.. Anti-jinx brigade at work

King Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Oh boy.. as I expected now fronting a case for Raina to be dropped. He'll be the next one to get a big one now.
jusarrived Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Some of you just dont get it .Batting @5 and @6 is bloody difficult . you cant question their place in the team based on few failures . Irrespective of their form our three best ODI bats are Virat , Dhoni and Raina . Guys who can actually play down the order . Send any of these guys up the order , they will score hundreds for you and statistically look good , if thats what we need . On the contrary its the likes of Rohit we need to hide , play them in slots where there is no pressure . its these guys whos place in the side should be questioned regularly .

jusarrived Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Haven't been watching cricket lately I guessWas watching when he was not opening too . He does not have the game to play anywhere but open or @7 if he has to blindly slog .
Austin 3:!6 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Raina is the only player in the current team who can hit from ball 1 and you want to drop him? Also, his fielding and bowling a plus.
sensible-indian Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Raina is the only player in the current team who can hit from ball 1 and you want to drop him? Also, his fielding and bowling a plus.Raina is a gem that many teams would LITERALLY KILL to have.
nevada Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 What about Kohli? He hasn't done anything special lately.
HippoSucks Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Raina walks in to any international team in LOIs because of the dearth of openers, and India should drop him? We are struggling to find a good bowling AR to replace Binny/Jadeja and dropping Raina (who bowls a few good overs) would just make the situation worse.

Do you rate Maxwell higher than Kohli in that case? Batting in the top 4 is the most difficult irrespective of the format.
