He looks a good prospect, people want a readymade 150k bowler which rarely happens, it's the ability which matters. He has enough pace to unsettle batsmen and more importantly he can move the ball both ways and has Yorker which is good. He can easily develop into a very good bowler.

Not many 20 year old have bowled 150. Exceptional cases.

When Mitch Starc made his ODIs debut against India in 2010 as a 21 year old, he wasn't as quick as he is now. His pace range was 135-142 kph and see him now. His body is matured, stronger and he is hitting 150 kph for fun. This is the kind of progress I want to see from likes of Nathu, Rajpoot, and Bumrah. Pace along with good bowling. Umesh hasn't done that. Pace is there but bowling hasn't developed as expected.

Aaron to has reached that stage now, so, I expect him to start delivering results.

Aaron comes across as an intelligent guy. I expected him to become a good pacer within a decent time. It could be that his injuries and lack of bowling and match practice has hampered his progress.

Bumrah is a thinking bowler too. It was evident in both the matches that he played.

Today, Nathu Singh got hit in his first 2 overs when he pitched it up and there was no swing. From the 3rd over, he shortened his length and started to hit the deck hard in search of bounce which he got. Later on, when the ball started reversing, he started bowling yorkers. I liked the though process that he displayed. It is still early days for him and nothing much can be said but this is a good sign.

The biggest challenges for these bowlers, especially after some fame and IPL , would be whether they are able to keep their feet on the ground ...as well as injury management.

Nathu Singh has been picked by Mumbai Indians in IPL at a very good price. He will be motivated to play for MI as 2 new players ie Bumrah & Pandya choosen by them are now playing for India

Good news.

He looked like an thinking bowler and may be able to learn from the bowling coach in his franchise.

its sad that Umesh aaron are not regulars in odi and t20 still.

all other pacers except umesh shammi n aaron n ishant do not have the real pace that good international fast bowler requires...

nehra is a very good bowler but can he actually play in an oDI..it has 50 over of fielding n 10 overs of bowling- I doubt if he is fit to play an ODI- his fielding is way below Umesh or shammi and even worse than Ishant.

Boomrah has a good Yorker and I feel as soon as he is sorted out n his action is managed - his bowling analysis will start looking ordinary and he may also be replaced but I guess he will succeed in his first 6 months of international career for sure.

I was shocked to see Watson hitting him like crazy in the last t 20 so he is probably manageable as Watson cud read him well.

for our odi n test success umesh aaron shammi n ishant need to really improve.

other indian bowlers don't look international class to me..n even in odi boomrah may not be a much threat later once his unorthodox action is resolved.bran looked as if he was a perfect trundler in his second n third spells- not a good news.

nathu is improving but not international class as of today.

Its great that Nathu who is from lesser privileged background getting picked up for a good amount. Hope he gets a few games and uses this opportunity to improve his game and hope he is not benched by MI.

The first thing Nathu Singh wants to do is build a bigger house for his parents and younger brother. After all, the 20-year-old son of a factory worker in Jaipur has just become richer by Rs 3.20 crore.

A pace bowler hailed by cricket greats like Rahul Dravid as the “spark” in Indian cricket, was bought by IPL franchise Mumbai Indians on Saturday, catapulting the virtually unheard of player to the big league.

But all the youngster could think of when HT spoke to him was about the hardships his father made to ensure that he could to play the game of cricket -- first with tennis ball in the narrow bylanes of the Murlipura locality where he lives with his family.

“Now I will build a new house for my parents,” an emotional Nathu said, choking on his words.

Prodded to speak about his cricketing dreams, Nathu said he hopes to catch the eye of the national selectors during his stint with the Mumbai Indians in IPL.

“My priority is to play well in IPL and proved my strength. IPL is the platform to enter the Indian team,” he added.

When HT contacted Nathu’s father Bharat Singh on phone he said he was busy loading packets of wire on trolleys and was unaware of his son’s achievement till someone informed him.

“I am very happy for his achievements. His hard work has paid off,” Singh said adding that his even son took up odd jobs to buy cricket kits.

Ur analysis on bumrah is wrong...from what i have observed ....he is very good with old ball and consistently bowls yorkers with old one

Dhoni should bowl him with middle overs and dearth overs

Malinga didn't become useless after he was figured out.....he had his strengths....... similarly burmah is more than his awkward action

NathuSingh has another chance to impress the the selectors in Irani Trophy against Mumbai. I would like to see how he bowls against a strong Mumbai batting lineup.

Definitely.....looking forward to how Nathu bowls and what speeds he can hit,

He came across as a thinking bowler who can adapt according to the situation... let's see how he does.

I hope they dnt bench him, unadkat n sran all of them. I dnt want to see a trundler like krishna das playing.

Which wud be pathetic, considering he ll never play for India

Considering :banghead:  all the torture trundlers had given to us everybody  hates them and wants to see exciting young tearwa pacers except bcci and dhoni.
