It is obvious that the India match was a one-off, an aberration. Pakistan were still in PSL mode and feeling the effects of jet-lag. Quite clearly this impacted their performance. When you just look at the proven class and pedigree of their team, it is scary : Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Sharjeel Khan, Mohammad Hafeez in the batting department and Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Aamir, Sami and Riaz in the bowling department. It is a team full of match winners and you only need one of them to click.

 

After the complacent first game, Pakistan will be looking to prove a point...as confirmed by Shoaib Malik himself. UAE are in for a drubbing next, mark my words.

These 2 are the world's best openers.

Then a middle order of Shoaib Malik, Khurram Manzoor, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi...strongest in the world for sure. 4 man pace attack which is the best since the West Indies pace quartet with big hearted Mohammad Aamir. I don't think any team can stop this juggernaut.
