They might over estimate their bowling strength and decide mentally about reaching just par score thinking their bowling will bail them out. This confused mindset coupled with their just-above-average batting skills lead them to below par scores always, which their bowling line up couldn't defend.But while chasing, they know what score to get. So they play with nothing-to-lose mentality and that fearlessness brings the best out of them. Sure they might still lose but their batting output while batting second is lot better than batting first. No wonder, their only T20I victory against us came while batting second. These are their batting first scores against us. And they lost all those three. In fact, all were almost a no contest which ended up being India winning by 5+ wickets.128 a.o - 2012 WT20130/7 - 2014 WT2083 a.o - 2016 Asia Cup. Now see the difference while batting second.
