Skipper MS Dhoni too is facing the prospect of a major embarrassment if India fail to make the semi-finals at home.Till now, runs have flowed in the men’s matches at Mohali, with New Zealand scoring 180 and Australia more than 190. G_B_ Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 bit of a non headline really. If the same pitch as NZ v Pak or Pak v Aus was used in addition to the womens game being played on the same pitch. There would be 120 overs of cricket on the pitch being played. The wear and tear would be so much that it would naturally start to turn.There is also no mystery at the edens gardens. Pitches at venues where a lot of games are played naturally start to turn. The pitch for India v Pkk and Nz v bd was nearly the same. Similarly the pitch for Aus v BD and India v BD was the same. You can look at the 2012 and 2014 world cups when spin dominated the semis and finals due to the same venues and pitches being used through the tournament.The indian media will sell their own mothers for an angle. adi B and tweaker 2

While the spinning deck in Eden they shot themselves in the foot by picking 4 seamers. I dont think why they are crying. Not the fault of the BCCI Wahab bowled without a brain or the Pak side did not have enough spinners to make use of the conditions. Afridi or Imad have decent figures in this world cup which tells me Pak just dont have good spinners. How is anybody to blame for that?

If we lay flat pitches they'll whine bcci and icc ruining the tournament by preparing flat decks to suit the host nation amd other strong batting sides,if we lay spin tracks (which is the normal nature of the wkt in ipl especially kolkata and nagpur) they'll again whine that why are flat pitches not served in t20s ,lol ,whiners will whine at anything!!their is no respite for us chewy and Adi_91 2
