Asim Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 India has today acknowledged that a man arrested in Pakistan served with the navy, but denied that he is an agent for RAW http://www.ndtv.com/india-news/india-says-ex-naval-officer-arrested-in-pak-is-not-raw-intel-agent-1290623
Captain Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I thought Ajit Doval made it clear in one of his speeches that we were involved in Balochistan. Pakistan is involved in Kashmir separatist activities, so Pakistan has no right to complain about Balochistan.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Officer of engineering corps and commander level being sent to the field?
zen Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 A real spy would die before saying all that on TV .... Even if half of what he says is true, I would give Ind marks .... You cannot allow a rogue nation with nuclear capabilities like Pak to survive. In fact, taking out countries such as Pak = helping the world become better Captain 1

Or just poor journalism. They spelled his name "Jadev" first and then "Jadhev". Shouldn't it be "Jadhav"? And the suburb is called "Powai" not "Puwai". Given that NDTV has an office in Powai, its unlikely that they should get the spelling wrong. Puzzling.

Singh bling Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 This is hilarious , If you threaten him worst possible torture then what option he has apart from saying what Pakistani's want, If he is real spy then why he is betraying his own nation ? Just because Pakistani's are treating him well. These things happen in Films not in real life

Doctored image? :) This is not any document or something which anyone needs to 'doctor', its just a media slide showing his general bio-data This looks something official: Edited March 30, 2016 by Asim
Texan Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Looks like he was reading off a script. The camera shows him mostly in a side angle and the way he was pausing seemed like there was a script playing in front of him. And what kind of editing is that?? Did Pak just hire their bankrupt filmmakers to create this video?
beetle Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Firstly....putting a guy on tv with a gun to his head does not make it a confession. Secondly, what is with this outrage Pakistan is showing? Pakistan trains and sends terrorists to rest of the world and expects that nations will just do nothing. Pakistan should be swarming with spies from all over the world to get information .If this is not happening,it is a big fail on the part of governments around the world affected by the terrorism that sprouts in the fatherland called Pakistan. The only place Osama Bin Laden got a safe place not just by himself but with his harem. sscomp32 1

In India...defense officers are not a pampered lot like Pakistan. The armed forces have a rather steep pyramid when it comes to promotions.A lot of officers are stagnated because of this.A lot of mid level officers take premature retirement after 20-23 years and look for work as civilians. A commander who is not likely to be promoted further would very likely take premature retirement and look for a new career while he is still young enough. The govt encourages this and provides help in terms of studies and courses to start a new life.It is very common.
