WI, what a team

Brilliant to watch when all playing with 100% effort.

They need to sort out whatever issues they have with WICB.

It was rather sad when Sammy said no-one from WICB called them team before the final, or how the 15 man squad and staff were left alone (and help from sponsors Caribcom) to fend for themselves for uniforms, organising stay/travels in India etc.

If they can't sort things out, and leave half-way from ODI series (i.e. ODI series in India last year), or put franchise duties ahead of national duty...then some will obviously criticise them or call them mercenaries.

Our lower order is an apology compared to this team :(   Not like our top order is full of six hitters.

And this is why the so called 6 hitter dhoni is overrated. If he wanted he could have hit 3-4 sixes and improved our score in last game. Culrpits of that game are someone else, not the one who people here are fond of deriding when he doesn't play as per their lofty expectations

that's in poor taste, Samuels comes overly sensitive at times.

ICC is a joke. The tournament won't be even 1/4th entertaining without WI.

Did the West Indies make last year's world cup more entertaining?

Yes. Win or lose, they do it in an entertaining way. Theu are more fun to watch than other teams.

The way Braithwite's played, this is the kind of innings we expected from Dhoni the other night. 10 balls 25-30 runs. Shitty player.

This. Bakra kisi aur ko bana rahe h saale milke sab log. Dhoni can learn a thing or two from braithwaite.

WI is a great team, but they need a little work on their interviews after a win. Taking pot shots at people who criticize them after winning is not a good idea IMO.

He comes after match is won and hits one six and one four and his supporters call him the best finisher ever. He has been extremely poor in T20s, doesn't have a single 50 in his career and I dont remember many match winning innings. Amazing keeper though

Dhoni has lost his hitting skill since the time he has started overthinking "pacing of his innings". We had absolutely no big hitters in the team. That is why we need to groom people like Pandya who are capable of clearing the ropes. Sharma, another capable six hitter had a very lean patch too.

I also find it quite nauseating that Rahane is now the "bakra" to place all the blame on. A 35 ball 40 is on par with what you'd expect from Rahane. He was knocking the ones and twos and giving strike to Kohli, the more aggressive batsman. In the end, we ended up losing to the World champions, a team that does not fear defeat, a team that takes any challenge head on and not tries to play extra cautious cricket. WI deserves to be the champions and we didn't really even deserve to be in the semis.

You will not find it because he mostly floats from 4 to 6. Mostly 5 and below. In a T20, that is too low a position to bat at. Also, just playing 10 balls, you can't be a finisher. And there is a weak lower middle order in our team which meant that there was more pressure on him to bat sensibly.
