Austin 3:!6 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 With a lead of 400+ and with all the rain around, why would you bat again? Never seen more defensive captaincy than this. Even if Pak bats twice, they wont be chasing down this target. What the hell you idiot...declare! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk tweaker 1
velu Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 declared imagine if MSD have done this .. 2 million litres of blood might be gone in the drain because of wrist slitting Rasgulla, sandeep and tweaker 3

Any captain which does such things need to be called out. English media and pundits have done the same. You take some of the worst examples of captaincy and compare with Dhoni. zep1706 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 He basically gifted Pakistan a complete session. Will serve him right if Pakistan are 8 or 9 down and then gets saved by rain.
Austin 3:!6 Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 MS was bit defensive in test cricket I agree but not to this extent. Even SKY commies were stunned why Eng didnt enforce the follow on. Cook reminds me of my Mohalla captain during childhood who just want to bat at any cost irrespective of the match situation. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk velu 1

CoverDrive Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 this was beyond one of the most defensive decisions by a captain ever. Little idiotic too given all the rain around.
tweaker Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Cook has the bowling attack to back his decision. Pakistan does not have batsman to make Cook decision look stupid velu, Ankit_sharma03 and mishra 3
sandeep Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Only logical reason I can think of, is its done with a view towards the series. Let the batsmen slap the Pak bowlers around a bit on a batting friendly wicket with nothing to lose, get some psychological points. Rub it in a bit, extend the game and make the Paks field while thinking every over, are we done yet. If not, it was just plain foolish. kruiser 1
tweaker Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 England bowlers have backed their captains decision.Match will end today. velu 1
velu Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 innings over within 2 sessions .. peeps were expecting that padosis can draw this test

Temujin Khaghan Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 the bowlers needed a small break... anderson and stokes were coming off from injuries inspite of that stokes had problem with his calf muscle and limped away.. velu 1
