Might be closer than that Tics.

I think we will win by about 70 runs. Ashwin Jaddu Jayant all picking up 3 wkts each with one for Shami.

Yes could be but I predict that this is how it will go

First session - Root goes early, England then cautiously play out the session losing just one wicket. Scoring 65 runs.

Second session - England lose 5 wkts, scoring 55 runs with blockathon.

3rd session - India complete victory.

england has shown a real grittiness...we have to win tomorrow at any cost ( otherwise series could go any way )
better win it before tea to crush their spirit.

India will win but it wont be easy. The pitch is not a minefield and England batsmen have shown the ability to stick it out and they do have a long batting lineup.  My prediction, India to win after tea.

day 1 4 wickets

day 2 11 wickets

day 3 8 wickets

day 4 9 wickets

hmm based on the above 8 wickets is withing range.....

On the 3rd and 4th days, the Indians contributed 10 of them out of 17. And that too whilst playing around 90 overs I think. Hence, it's fair to say that Eng played around 1 day for 7 wkts.

Returning to the prediction: A narrow draw is what I fear, although it could also happen to be a narrow win (in terms of overs remaining).

Ben Stokes will walk out tomorrow morning with Root and remain not out at the end of day. Root and Moeen will be the only wickets to fall. Stokes and Bairstow will be unbeaten at stumps with England at 250 for 4.

India will be horrible at the use of DRS and will use it up with optimistic appeals. Saha/Slips will let go of at least two half-chances.

{not really a prediction} Kohli will wear his frustration on his sleeves.

My prediction is Eng will lose 9 wickets and India will be on the verge of victory. Suddenly that dog will make his reappearence and the play will be called off due to dog threat. Drawn game will awarded to both teams and Queen of Eng will award knighthood to that dog.

thats a bit unfair. Dont think England have batted a full day from start to fin. As is common with the side batting second. They batted on average i think 50 overs a day and have lost about 4-5 wickets in those overs.

Not saying draw wont happen

Batted for about 50 overs and lost 5 on day 2. Ditto on day 3, except that they hung on for a few more overs (with lower order). Batted for 60 overs yesterday and lost 2.

Hence, their improvement is evident. Draw is likely outcome.

This England batting is stubborn and there is not any home advantage because of the rubbish pitches.England will able to draw this one.

Pitch isn't rubbish - e quite similar to the UAE ones. Broad was pretty threatening (and in the UAE also). It's just the many of our bowlers need more fav conditions, esp Jaddu, i.e. basically big turners.
