That one moment of 2016 which you will remember forever

So it could be any cricketing thing. Can be a controversy on or of the field related to cricket, a good knock by a player, a good spell by a bowler or a good team win. 

 

The idea is to define the year through that moment. It has to be an extremely special moment.

 

Whst is that one moment? 

 

You have to pick just one.

 

 

There were some great matches and performances but for me it has to be West Indies winning the Twenty20 world cup. I think 2016 will be rememebered for their team's success and how they thrashed every one again in the format which they are just too hard to beat. I think pretty much everyone enjoyed that moment. Most cricket fans wanted West Indies to win and that victory was to me the most special moment of this year.

That no ball of Ashwin to take Lendel Simmons .

I just knew it then it wasn't our day.The whole defeat was hard to take but that no ball in particular was a real piss off moment .

I would like to forget that moment. We were destined to win this twenty20 world cup. Can't believe we did not win this. But full credit to Windies.  That defeat was as big as it could get.

London faced one of the warmest summer this year. As a result there was no grass on the pitch what so ever and the ball started turning from day 3. It was anything but English conditions like the one India faced in 2014.Pak won 2 tests and both in London. Moment they step outside, lost both the tests.

BTW SL drawn a test series too in eng and that too in proper english conditions. If drawing a test series is your best moment, RIP pak cricket.

In particular the shot where he lofted Faulkner for 6...'there is long off but he can only WATCH IT GO OVER HIS HEAD FOR SIX.'
