Controversial fast bowler S Sreesanth’s  comeback to the game has hit a roadblock as the Board of Control for Cricket in India has denied him a No Objection Certificate (NOC), which ends his hopes of playing  the Scotland Cricket League.

Probably to send a msg of sorts to the young cricketers coming up. This is no Pakistan where fixers can walk in the playing 11 after serving their ban period.

but he was acquitted by court wasnt he or do i remember wrong ? wonder what was that about. BCCI has not exonerated him though

Not as a coach, I think.

But, why as a player does anyone need an NOC unless he is nationally contracted?  It's seems like bonded labor, to me.

Sreesanth is never going to be on any national level team or even an IPL team, so why not let him ply his trade and make some money in Scotland?  He's their headache, not BCCI's.

Some things, I just don't get.

After the BCCI rejected Sreesanth’  No Objection Certificate that would allow him to play club cricket in Scotland, he  has massively hit out at the board and is set to defy orders and resume his playing career later this month.Sreesanth is set to represent Ernakulam Cricket Club in a first division two-day game starting on the 19th of February.

Why doesn't he just retire? I think he'll become a free agent then. Simple solution.

Better apply for BCCI management post.

He should learn from Thakur.

Anurag Thakur was able to select himself in Himachal Ranji team after appointing himself as selector and then giving himself debut in Himachal team. Sreesanth can give himself NOC easily after that.

pakistan fans have been through enough crap in the last decade. Some caused by their govenment, some bytheir cricket administration, and some by their douchebag players for whom the fan adulation means nothing.

hopefully pakistan is ruthless this time.
