Aniket choudhary  was troubling kohli in the nets, India desperately needs a good left arm pacer, hopefully he gets inducted into the team soon, really loving kumble as coach

How did you know that Aniket was troubling Kohli?

did you read it or you were at the india Nets.

Watched the pre match analysis, the showed footage of nets, aniket got kohli out 2-3 times, even bowled him once:giggle: and got the outside edge too

Aniket got Kohli out in the nets, twice or thrice. One edging, one bowled, one lbs. Saw that in the prematch show.

when I play in the Nets , I go for shots specially when the coach says last 10 balls..thats when I normally end up getting out even twice and hit loose shots...

cant really go by Kohli's Net performance..  I am sure that Kohli would also be going for shots quite a lot in the nets instead of practicing leaving which Pujara and Vijay May be doing.

was the prematch show run on TV.

Kohli wasn't playing shots.

Yup its shud keep someone ishant on his toes now.......

I hope they add Navdeep and few more time to time. Luckily we have a lot of talent in fast bowling.

navdeep does not look like international material and he is more of a bhuvi type...swing less bhuvi.

can you guys post the video's of these 3 bowlers.. thampi, nathu and aniket.

I feel ankit Rajput with his height is ideal to replace Ishant Sharma after 6 months from now- ishant is purposefully trying to just restrict batsman instead of taking wickets...he has to fetch more wickets.

Will wait till they are actually selected into the squad first before celebrating .

We had what 17 tests this season alone and yet didn't even try a single new bowler .We could have easily given a couple of them a go and blooded into the team without any pressure.Yet we didn't , so unless they actually are picked , this is just PR talk. And talk is cheap.

Even if selected will probably only end up carrying drinks. Rahane had to serve drinks for over a year before getting an actual game. Recent record of selecting and then playing youngsters is pretty awful.

Navdeep Saini  is on the taller side, hits the deck hard when he is not trying to swing the ball and gets steep bounce. Bowls at speeds of 130 k to 142 k.  Can swing the ball too.

We saw him trouble top order Aussie batters in the last A team game and pick  3 + 1 wickets  in the match without giving away too many runs.

Navdeep is a seam bowler and bhuvi is a swing bowler. There is a diff in their height

Isnt bhuvi an international bowler, Seam bowler are more effective then swing bowlers specially these days.

But his stats before two years were also okish.

Obsession with 1st class at time is to much. Vinay kumar has stats take him.......

Bowlers like krishna das end up being season highest wkt taker.....wud u take them for sake of stats. People here even go after hardik pandya fc class stats, the guy has good international stats does domestic stats matter anymore in his case

We talk about fast tracking someone , then we want them to have gr8 fc stats......

But good bowlers will perform atleast decently is my point. There is definitely talent and skill and some people are not cut out for international.

Never look at stats for developing fast bowlers for india

Then why even play Ranji if the stats don't count and don't develop new bowlers skills.

Because most fast bowlers are always picked early based on potential. By the time, they generate good FC stats, they lose pace and motivation too. An 18 year old Avesh Khan isn't going to bowl like an FC veteran especially as he only played 5 FC matches, not enough sample size to judge him on his FC stats.

Look at that extra bounce he gets from the length and movement he gets ....u think he lacks it

Pace also looks really good.

Get him to play test cricket....he ll be damn handy in overseas condition
