We should have moved on and concentrated on the third test. This is certainly going to affect the concentration of our players.

These are the players who play amongst heavy crowds cheering them. They handle all the pressure of billion people's expectation. As far as I know 'Monkeygate' didn't affect our on field performances. We are in our home not even touring. We didn't do anything wrong. All indian fans would support Indian team on this.So what is it that would disturb our concentration?

I have a feeling that kohl will be under big pressure coz his serious aligation is not yet proved by any video footage. the umpires also have not confirmed that that smith did it 2 times earlier as well. Claiming that someone is systematically cheating without solid evidence is not a small thing. What makes it serious is the allegation is more towards the whole team and the team represent's Australia the nation. Personally I felt kohli should have dealt with the situation more diplomatically and not imaturely like Wat happened in the press conference. Bcci by complaining again is only aggravating the situation.

O.K. But if he is indeed telling the truth then inspite of what happens he would be even more fired up for the next.He said he informed the umpires about it. So video evidence present or not if umpires accept that they were informed kohli would be safe.

Desi. Nailed by the grammar.

i have a bit of dislike for the word desi. Its a bit pretentious, pakistani orgin hate us so why should we encompass them and BD folks in any umbrella term.

any reasons provided. BCCI getting arm twisted by ICC now.

Both boards chief met and decided to give to focus on the third test instead of this issue.

Before the start of the third test both captain will meet and commit to play in the spirit of the game

I agree this. Even though I sometimes end up using it just because I have picked up this bad habit from others. But seriosuly it is a cringy word. I remember hating it when I first came overseas.

actually good.. this was such a great test victory but instead of savoring it, getting distracted by this controversy. Anyway the job is done - we got under their skin so we have milked the issue to its fullest.

Now lets get on with Cricket!

wonder what CA threatened BCCI with?

Withdrawing aussie players from the upcoming IPL?   Naah, more likely that BCCI got a chip in its favor for future negotiations.

Like them, hate them or vice versa - Its inescapable fact that Indians, Pak and BD people fall under the same classification, we are all the children of Sanatan Dharma whether they "reverted" to some other stuff or not.  :p:  And on phoren shores, "desi" is the word that gets used.
