Pollack Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) Predict West Indies to win at least one test out of three against Pakistan. All the tests would be closely contested.Pakistan hasn't won a series in west Indies like forever. Edited March 13, 2017 by Pollack
speedheat Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Windies just got thrashed by england 3-0, I don't know where their cricket is going I want them to split badly world will have 4 to 5 more competitive teams Jamaica barbodas t&t Antigua Guyana etc msplash9 1
Jimmy Cliff Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Congrats to Pak for their first ever Test series win in the WI in advance.

Gollum Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Can mighty Pakistan with so many mighty legends and superstars of the game win their 1st test series in WI? I mean they should win the test series considering they were number one team last year and even India C team won there in 2011.
Sandeep99 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Somehow feel Pakistan is going to win the T20s, ODIs but lose tests. Inept team.
sandeep Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Battle of the 8th vs 9th. Going to be closer than most people think.
Sidhoni Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Is this the first time there are more T20s than ODIs and tests?
Autonomous Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 2 hours ago, Sidhoni said: Is this the first time there are more T20s than ODIs and tests I Think so. Ideally they should've added two more ODIs as both teams are competing for spot. Expecting a very good performance in this series, Also first series with Sarfraz as ODI Captain who is also test vice captain now. Sidhoni 1
sandeep Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Its a bit of bad luck for the pack that they will play Windies after that short series against England - even losing against top strong teams tends to lift the performances of relatively weak teams for the next series. Case in point, after being hammered by India at home in tests, Windies went to UAE, won one test against Pak, and fell one good batting performance short of potentially winning another. Pak fans should not assume a walk in the park this series...q
Gollum Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Expect a surprise in the test matches. This WI test team has potential.
chewy Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Pakistan not winning this Test series, a draw at best
chewy Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Pak had lucky escape in recent series with WI wont be so lucky this time
Iconoclast Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 We haven't played tests in the Caribbean for a long time ... India has had numerous test series there in the same time. Anyways the fast bowlers need to start clicking ... I don't think Azhar Mahmood is doing a good job as bowling coach ... should be replaced.

Even the first match of the recent series in U.A.E was almost pulled off by Bravo.Of course scorecard won't show that but it was close and those who watched it live know it. Pakistan performed poorly against this depleted West Indies side or maybe West Indies showed great resistance. It could easily have been 2-1 to West Indians.

West Indies did well in the test series, Bravo in particular played with great resolve. This should be a tightly fought tour in all formats. Just hope the Pak players stay away from the ganja and girls and concentrate on cricket
YCCC Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) No idea what to expect. Has the potential to be quite interesting, going by the rankings at least. The Windies performed admirably in the UAE so hopefully they can make it interesting. Also how is the schedule not finalised yet with less than two weeks to go? No one seems to know what time the matches will start as the debate rages between suiting a local audience and a money making TV audience in Asia. Just sums up WI cricket these days I'm afraid Edited March 13, 2017 by YCCC
