Gollum Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 He may well match or even surpass Smith considering how flat the pitch is. But Smith here has proven that he is the number 1 batsman post Sanga-Amla-ABDV generation. A flawless record in every condition, his lowest average is in Lanka, around 42 odd.
wanted_desi Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 He has been Ruled out of the Match. HE will sit and watch Smith score 300 SLICKR392 1

sandeep Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Will be tough for him to bat with that injury I think.

Dinx - the Jinx Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 No Kohli wont do **** for the rest of the series.
Dinx - the Jinx Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Dont think Kohli will chicken out. He will definitely play if his body allows. But he wont make a big difference with the bat. But I guess, even his presence in the field as a captain will make a lot of difference. So yeah - he should play
nevada Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Props to Smith for delivering time after time. In two innings he scored what the entire Indian team scored in the first test. Rasgulla 1
~ Miss Warner ~ Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 It's Kohli's duty as the Indian captain and leader to come out and score big now. He verbally went at Smith and Smith has thrown down the gauntlet, it is up to Kohli to match it now. Unless his arm is literally falling off his body he needs to show leadership and push through the injury, we all know he is capable of going out and matching Smiths score, no one is doubting his ability, but it is now his mental strength that is being tested. I am not sure how you back up a blatant attempt at cheating with a fine innings. No one has questioned Smith's batting ability, only his integrity. No number of centuries can overcome the fact that he tried to break the rules and was caught red-handed. Sidhoni, express bowling, TheWall and 1 other 4

He glanced towards the box once and then walked off without challenging, he apologised and moved on... A lot of Indian fans are carrying on like he murdered somebody, dear god get over it. Yeah, we mustve been, because he was already walking at that stage, and never reviewed the decision anyway #mountainsoutofmolehills
