I am afraid that Imran Khan is that same foolish friend, who pose himself to be liberal, but actually he destroyed the Liberalism much more than any Muslim fanatic could have done it. Imran Khan practically served the Talibani Interests in Pakistan. Imran Khan was the same person who misguided the nation that the War against Taliban was not our war, but of US. Thus our nation never got united against the Taliban and kept on believing Taliban as it's Islamic brother. Reality is this for Taliban, the Pakistani System is a system of KUFR (while it is democracy, which is Haram and only Islamic Caliphate is legal). Taliban openly issue Fatwa against Pakistani Democracy and Pakistani Constitution. Therefore, one of the main aim of Taliban is to impose their Sharia system and Caliphate upon Pakistan (just like they did in Afghanistan). When Taliban conquered Kabul for the first time in 1996, they were raising the slogan "Kabut till Islamabad, Taliban Taliban". But only thanks to the presence of US that Taliban are unable to impose their system upon Pakistan. As soon as US leaves, then Taliban will again target Islamabad. This is a curse upon Islamic world. The Prophet of Islam and 2nd Caliph Umar told them to choose only ONE CALIPH for whole Islamic state, and rest all of the candidates should be killed. This became blessing for the world as now today Taliban, ISIS, Hizbul Tehrir, Saudi King, Ikhwanul Muslimeen all trying to be that single Caliph and thus they have to kill all other candidates. Always wondered why would IK be pro Taliban? He always looked quite liberal in his outlook at least in the interviews. Imran Khan is not an extremist, but a "foolish Liberal friend" who in some cases damaged the humanity much more than the open extremists. (1) Imran Khan first campaigned that War against Taliban is not Pakistan's war. This stopped the nation to ever become united against Taliban and they kept on saying Good Taliban and Bad Taliban, while there is no such distinction. (2) Taliban were killing people in FATA and imposing their Sharia, but Imran Khan opposed every Army operation against them. (3) Actually Imran Khan was the person who opposed the operation against Taliban in SWAT area and asked for the imposition of Shariat-e-Muhammadi, by telling the people that it is the culture of that Swat Area, and Pakistani Constitution is wrong for this area, and Army should leave. On pressure of foolish politicians like Imran Khan, army had to leave that area. As a result Taliban captured whole Swat area within next 2 days and imposed their Sharia, where they were slaughtering the people in the main Bazaar of Swat every friday. But it was not enough for Taliban, as their real aim to impose Sharia upon whole Pakistan. Thus Taliban started attacking the nearby areas and kept on advancing towards Islamabad. At the end, Army was compelled to start a huge operation against Taliban. And then there was war in Swat where thousands of people had to die due to the foolishness of politicians like Imran Khan. Over Million people were displaced in that war. So who was responsible for this innocent blood? Yes Taliban were responsible, but foolishness of Imran Khan also had a share in it. (4) Remember, Imran Khan puts his personal Interests (of becoming prime minister of Pakistan) over the interests of Humanity. Remember, a leader is one who shows the nation the Right Path, even if this right path is against the wishes of the majority of the people. But Imran Khan is not that leader. He does not show the people the right path, but he himself takes the "popular path". In Urdu, we describe this behaviour as following the WIND and not going against the wind even if wind is blowing in the wrong direction. Imran Khan will never let his own sisters and daughter and even sons to live under Talibani Sharia system. But he compelled millions of people of Swat to live under Taliban in name of Shariat-e-Muhammadi. Malala Yousafzai then appeared from that same area of Swat and that 12 years old little angel struggled against Taliban. For that I respect Malala. She is a true liberal.
