Even if we lose 1 out of the next 2 tests. Heads have to roll.

Our best chance to win in Australia has been screwed up badly.

Winning an odd test or drawing a series is not the option.

We lost 7 tests this year. Under the dark days of MSD in 2011 we lost 8 and in 2014 we lost 6. How is this an upgrade.

Sure we won an odd test in SA and Eng but that’s an unacceptable win %.

Back  in the day excuse used to be bowlers not able to pick 20 wickets but we have our fast bowlers delivering every game.

Coach and selector have  to be questioned.  The next 2 tests should be the litmus test.

I guess practice has been scrapped yet again after the debacle. No redemption whatsoever. These guys never learn.

Honestly, it's already pretty embarrassing that the No. 1 ranked Test team has lost a match to a side without two of its heavyweights — Smith and Warner. We would be like a headless chicken without our top two batsmen.

Don't insult headless chickens, even 'it' can run around longer than India minus Kohli and Chepu can bat....

Absolutely. No excuses now for screwing up series after series despite having a fine bowling attack. Our batsmen bat as if they are facing sniper fire on a field of landmines. Can't understand what they are so scared of. When was the last time this batting lineup pulled the match back in our favor or to a state of parity? The bowlers OTOH have done it time after time. In recent times only Prithvi Shaw batted with the right mindset to make a name for himself. Too bad he got injured this series.

it  is a  no secret that our team's fortunes lies with  winning the toss in abroad conditions.Even in the coming test in Melbourne, if we loss the toss, we can easily predict as to what the outcome would be.  This despite the fact that we have a golden oppertunity of having our 'bowlers performing brilliantly as  group'.Even in  the 80s , we had a better batting unit than this current lot.In the 90s we improved a bit on it and in 2000s our batting was at it's imperious best. All the while our bowling remained mediocre. Naturally despite the domestic set up getting lot more professional in every sense and having lots of talented batsmen to select from, Indian  batting has regressed a lot.

The incompetent sense less dumb ass morons in the team management have ensured that with their strange methods . One such instance was of that moron Prasad giving the reason for selecting Vijay in the team after he failed in the ENG series He gave a statement that AUS   series is very intense & Vijay showed that intensity in the county cricket and hence he has been selected' .What a laughable statement from this sense less moron...I am almost sure that if the talent pool gets into the hands of people with  some minimum cricket

sense, we can trace out brilliant batsmen to assist Kohli.

Current english team is very good specially at home so us losing there isnt much of a surprise. 2nd test in aus difference between 2 teams was aussie openers gave them 100 and 50 run starts and that was the margin of loss. Same happened in SA i think 2nd test openers got a decent start and we folded like we usually do in 4th innings. Dont forget we couldnt chase 120 odd in WI. So this is not new.

Our bowling looks good because batting standards of our opposition has fallen. Our 1st test lineup of Ishant, Shami, Bumrah and Ashwin would have give 400-500 before dismissing a lineup of Hayden, langer, ponting, hussey, martyn, clarke, gilchrist follwoed by warne, lee and johnson.

On the flip side , number of wickets lyon got in 1st test, he would have needed a decade to get the  same number if he were bowling to sehwag, gambhir, rahul, sachin, vvs, ganguly, dhoni.

Sure some decisions could have been better but we arent the world beaters per some of the fans. We are decent side with few places up for grab like most international test sides.
