A capitalist dictatorship that works together to lift everyone out of poverty. Look at China.

Paaji we have this popular saying in Rajasthan that "pahar (mountains) door se dekhne me hi ache lagte hai".

Trust me you are better off without Chinese model of growth.

I think the point of this thread was to highlight that now the two most powerful top cabinet posts in the UK Government ( Finance and Home) are held by British Indians. Both are staunch conservatives and Brexiteers.

Im loving it- slap in the face to the Anti Semetic, muslim/Pakistan appeasing Labour party.

That BS was proven wrong decades ago.

Well yes for now, capitalism is truly the way foward. But I don't know things could change, especially with the AI led Industrial Revolution coming about primarily down to the effects of capitalism, socialism will start coming back to the foreground. This statement could indeed turn out to be true then.

Socialism is an idealized notion that would never work irl as shown by the failure of socialistic economies vis a vis capitalist states in the 20th century.

Market forces would always triumph such theories. On paper the concept looks really nice but it's not practical at all since it doesn't take into account the human greed and various other emotional factors .

Would remain to be seen how their policies impact India.

India is only one of 100s of countries in the world that UK needs to deal with. Their origin does not influence what policies they have over India, that is still decided by the Government and Prime Minister as a whole.

Labour was considered as pro immigrant and socialist party. Now it is considered as pro Islamisation and Communist party. I understand that a generation of Indians and their kids have suffered from racism and anti Immigrant views. But, new generation of immigrant Indian origins do not feel the same as times have changed.

BoJo was called bigot, racist, anti immigrant and what not by pro EU and libtards. Given opportunity he goes on to choose people in his ministry without looking at the colour of their Skin. Thats the point.

Sajid Javid was surrounded by list of people who came from his background. British Muslim community is very small. You go to remember, Sonia Khan was escorted out with armed police as aparently she was leaking the info from Cabinet. That may have continued despite her departure.

What is important is that Sterling rose immediately after Sunaks appointment.

Well none of the market economies are truly market economies are they, so it's not like it was completely rooted out. Many of the western market economies had to adopt the principles of welfare state. In fact the most well off countries in the world right now, truly employ many socialistic principles.

Socialism depends on the extent of development of a state's productive forces. Why I spoke about the next IR is that it could truly take the production levels off the charts, reducing the dependance on human labour slogging to achieve disproportionate wealth for a few... Elements of socialism will have to brought into the system further. It'll never be one or the other but a combination of both in the end.

Yeah mixed economies are a way to go.

Crony capitalism is nearly as bad.

fuk that, china is a terrible country which treats its own people like dogs.

Do you think India is much better? China has much better law and order and better development. So much poverty has been eradicated in China. Countries like South Korea and China were worse off than India at one point but now look at how far they have gone ahead.
