What do you guyz make of Shadab Khan

I dont even know, I got his name right.....I like wrist spinning art and try to keep up with the talent. I have seen little bit of him in the ongoing WI tour of Pak and I loved it.....What i liked is the zip of the pitch.....

 

What do you guyz make of him??

Overrated,mediocre will be exposed badly against a better team, just like yasir in australia

I would like to see him play against more quality teams before starting to judge him. Just started his journey. Lets see if he fades away like Mendis and co or will he learn to adjust and become a great. But atm too hyped up for sure.

Promising leggie - turns the ball quite a bit and has a good googly.  Seems to have OK temperament also, and a good fielder.  Apparently no bunny with the bat either.   Reminds me a lot of Piyush Chawla when he was young.  Hope he doesn't go that route.   Still early days for him though.  Lot of spinners start with a bang, especially against bad batting against spin like the Windies.  But a quality prospect.  And looks genuinely below 20, so he's got time on his side.  

 

Already a massive upgrade over Yasir Shah in white ball cricket.  His debut might spell doom for gareebon ka Jadeja in ODI cricket, if not all white ball cricket.

Too early to call as he's playing against a WI B team. The main WI team itself isn't that great at playing spin and here they don't even have their best players playing. Let's wait what he does against better teams. For all you know he might be worse than Yasir "best spinner in the world" Shah

Let's not even discuss, if he is good enough to be great.....That will be after already 2 to 3 years, if he lasts for that long........

 

Does he look good? What r his strengths? Is kuldeep comparable to him or he looks better than him ?

He should be compared to Chahal, not Kuldeep.    Chahal is older and more polished, Shadab puts nice rip on the ball.  But lets see if he gets figured out after a few games.  Video analysis is something that a lot of young spinners can't overcome.

Another good spinner who has started of

well like many others from Asia.

He is young so has lot of time and needs to prove against other teams. Won't say more than that for now. Same goes

for guys like Kuldeep or Sri Lanka's Sandakin, they have lot to prove against different oppositions.

I think his batting ability is very good.

Currently being wasted this low. Should bat and #6 or #7 but unfortunately we have seniors like Wahab and Imad to accommodate.

I think he will be a solid one day cricketer.

 

Bowling wise as others mentioned he turns the ball, has a googly that the windian batsmen can't pick and also has decent control for a leggy.

 

He can bat as well and is a sharp fielder.

 

More important question is if he can take test wickets.

 

Well he has been included in the test squad so we shall find out soon.

Got selected for PSL this year...

just saw one ground fielding, trying to run batsman out in on-going test match.. couldnt pull off that run-out because sarfaraz wasn't expecting a quick throw from him.. lol.. he is easily the best Pakistani fielder on display currently.. much better than pak standard i must say.. I havent seen his batting much .. bowling is nothing extra ordinary and he just got worst figures in on-going test match against WI players so may be just a hoopla..
