I'm not worried about T20 - agree he shouldn't play T20Is. I'm more concerned about CT and that in odis he has to play slightly up the order - probably at 4. With next T20 world Cup in 2020 it's unlikely MSD will be around till then either.Pant should definitely replace in the T20 team. As for ODIs ,Dhoni is still needed moreso for Champions trophy.Apart from Kohli MSD is the only one that can be trusted to shepeard a chase under pressure.Also can setup with a big hundreds with batting first.Yes Jadhav looks good but still untested outside India. So MSD is essential for CT.His future after that can then be judged based on his form. Preferably Pant should be played as Opener alongside Rohit or Dhawan and Dhoni in middle order alongside Jadhav at 5&6.
