BeautifulGame Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 A Mumbaikar with Tamil dna .Powerful combo Making comeback today.Time to show it off in IPL and boot Rohit from Indian team. Number, BCCI, Magneto and 3 others 5 1
Number Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Why Delhi have pushed him down at 4 ? I remember IPL 2015, he was opening for them. He can bat at no. 3 ahead of Nair for sure. Mumbai List A also he plays at no. 3 or opens. He is on India bench for sure after his 200 vs Australia in FC. Just need to have a bumper IPL to be in CT XI.
rkt.india Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 He should open with Pant. Samson at 3, Billings at 4. BCCI and Mosher 2

Number Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Very good innings today. Good thing is he was able to improvise and score even when Bhuvi and Kaul were bowling really well. hope this knocks some sense into Delhi mgmnt and they start batting him in top 3. have really high expectations from him. beetle and Laaloo 2
rahulrulezz Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 (edited) I am his fan for last two seasons. Check his strike rate in Ranjis and domestics. Mouth watering. Only guy other than Kedar and Pant who gives me hope for future Edited April 19, 2017 by rahulrulezz Ultimate_Game 1
Sandeep99 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 He looks and plays like Steve Smith. Just needs to get more consistent and develop a better power game. I see him as the next all format player after Kohli and Rahul for India. Number 1
Yoda-esque Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 How many "next big thing" threads are we going to have ? Sidhoni 1

Ultimate_Game Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 (edited) I like him. Better than Nair and probably should be selected in the Tests ahead of the triple centurion. i don't know how much more we will have to pay for that triple century Deserves to be ahead of Rahane in pecking order in shorter format as well. Man, Rayudu has played just 30 odd matches, and scored so consistently in those.. averages 50 with 2 centuries and 6 fifties. The most consistent batsman in last 3 years after Kohli... What more do you expect him to do? If someone has been responsible for wastage of Jadhav's and to some extent, Manish Pandey's career, it's Raina, who had blocked the place of a lot more deserving player for so many years and for so many matches. Dont want to see Raina again either in ODIs or T20Is, though his T20I stats are phenomenal.

Check his strike rate. Pathetic in those 30 games. The guy killed so many games for us. If it wasn't for his hundreds against Zimbabwe, his strike rate wouldn't cross 65.
