No need for that. :giggle: If speedheat wasn't speedblind he would have seen smith crediting dhoni while celebrating milne's wicket.

A captain who leads from front will always do well .Dhoni is not batting well anyway.

Smith has 1 IPL 100 last year. He has been scoring good runs this IPL as well.  Dhoni does not has an IPL 100, but he bats low as compared to Smith's batting position. So obviously Smith will score more tons and runs this IPL as well like last year. We have to consider this factor why Smith is outscoring Dhoni.

Dhoni has more captaincy experience than Smith, and in no way i would say Smith is more experienced than Dhoni as a captain. Having said that, the results of Pune under Smith are much better than under Dhoni. Dhoni will captain CSK or Team India better than anyone else, but Smith has shown that he can handle unfamiliar teams as well, which is a good trait for captain. He has covered the lesser captaincy probably by motivating Pune much better, using better bowling and fielding changes, and better tactics. As a result he has taken Pune who were 7th rankied last year to 4th ranked thus far this year.

Sometimes back I remember saying Aussies being good captains in IPL:  Warne, Gilchrist, Warner, Bailey and now Smith continuing the trend. :hatsoff:
