Recently saw a WA video of Police beating the chit out of peaceful protestors... it all depends upon the ruling dispensation which gives free hand to Law enforcement agencies... the only hope for Bengal is a 'non-secular' regime change.

Many Hindus belonging to the same town are also hoping for rigorous punishment because according to them " Why must we suffer due to wrongdoings of one person? " What an apologetic attitude.

Hindu homes got torched, Hindus girls were abducted or threatened that they will. Hindus were forced to leave Kashmiri homes for camps. After Howrah incident, This is second time at mass scale, Police have shown no willingness to control the Muslm crowd. In both cases Kashmir and Bengal, State Administration was unproven but complicit in Police inaction.
