Shoaib Akhtar is the toughest bowler I've faced, says Dhoni

At a charity event hosted by current India captain Virat Kohli, India’s wicketkeeper MS Dhoni has revealed a surprising pick as the hardest bowler he’s ever faced. It is none another than former Pakistan quick Shoaib Akhtar.

All the fast bowlers are quite difficult, with the limited technique I had, it was very difficult to face the fast bowlers,” Dhoni said.

“Still, if I had to pick one, I would pick Shoaib Akhtar.”

“Very simple reason: he was quick, he was fast, he could bowl a yorker, he could bowl a bouncer but you never expected a beamer. He was a bit unpredictable [but] he was fun to play against.”

Its a back-handed insult.  Because Shobby wouldn't even hesitate to go as far as throw a beamer to the head if he got spanked.

Lies

Indian's can only dream of producing a bowler with pace of Akhtar.

He destroyed every top batting lineup of world with 'pace' factor alone...

You mean chuck factor.   Sorry "hyper-extension".   FYI, RP Singh had elbow hyper extension as well.  He was never caught chucking.  Ian Bishop did a nice little video on it.   Google is your friend.

Who can forget this epic moment. A billion silenced.

Your players seem to have these 1 or 2 moments  which seem to give them a life :giggle:

go ahead post Afridi's Kanpur knock or Kamran Akmal's Karachi knock next...sure as Indians we will be upset but then think this next....

what if these guys hadn't played those knocks??? Would they have had such long careers? Would that have benefited pak cricket?

do some soul searching and comeback :phehe:

Hats off to you if you were able to find the "point". I'm struggling to find it :giggle:

So apparently my opinion is representative of a billion people.

And the same exact question can be asked if you on this issue.

Do you think Chuckthar would be allowed to bowl in today's more restrictive ICC environment? I'm not so sure he would.
