Rasgulla Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 India has lowest average in pp If this guybis best opener then ishant is the best bowler of india.. he made pointing dance to his tunes once bleaf27 1
Pollack Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 If you expected anything from Rohit against good bowling attack then you're idiot. Not Rohit. He was at seas against Amir even in group stage match. The only difference being he was allowed to play out Amir. Today he cannot do so while chasing a big score. In any case he wouldn't have survived. That was some class bowling from Amir. Completely out of nowhere.

Tibarn Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 @Haarkarjeetgaye @StriKe @jusarrived Here are the numbers since Jan 1 2015, so it includes the last WC up to today Rohit is in the conversation as the 2nd best opener based on the numbers since 2015. It's between him and Guptill. Warner is a step above based on his strike rate, but it's hard to fault a 58 average at a 94 strike rate. maniac and StriKe 2

Look rohit has problem when the ball is swinging and then again who doesn't? He is least if our problems but yes his technique is a problem

It was just this exact ball and dismissal

Can we eliminate minnows... he is known minnow basher and get me IMP matches and against main teams WC2011INDIA 1
The Realist Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Big problem is that Sharma is poor chasing and consumes too many dot balls, running is not great. Always trying to play yourself in a poor approach for a limited overseas opener. For a player who is now in his 30s he needs to step up & either become a responsible senior player or be replaced by younger talents.

Tibarn Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Here is against the top 4 teams: Ind, Aus, SA, Eng plus another team Top 4 + Pak I didn't include Bang, NZ, WI, or SL Top 4 + NZ I didn't include Bang, Pak, WI, or SL Top 4 + Bang I didn't include Pak, NZ, WI, or SL
King Tendulkar Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Rohit sharma is a good odi player . Come on guys we silly one dismissal and ....
WC2011INDIA Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 an idiot. Overrated bilateral/minnow/group stage/quarter final specialist. That's all. Same with Shikhar and Virat only when batting first or facing minnows.

Raina he got in his second over

He is not a proper opener and needs to be removed from opener's spot or else we will end up taking a risk in every game. He can serve well at #4 as he is now a senior player and is capable of clearing the field easily. Whom did u wanted to open with incase u wanted to push him down to # 4

Either the players needs to be changed or the approach

Hence his awful game against any decent seam attack is atrocious and his legacy by bundling BD/SL is quite meaningless.
Cricketics Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Good job guys, continue to roast the guy who was second highest scorer in the tournament and just failed in the finals. Well done. If you know a better opener then let me know. And please don't mention Pant as he is yet to be tried and will be tried soon, name someone else. cricketfan28 1
