If we need dhoni against z grade teams. What does that tell you about the quality of the team ? Atleast dhoni doesn't get bowled between bat and pad like 3 guys did or jump out of the crease and get stumped.

Surprised no is mentioning how much better Axar is bowling compared to jadeja. That to me is the main improvement since the CT trophy.

that statement was made by Harsha Bhogle ,seems like you ll cling onto the statement for some time to come 

I thought dhoni should've been sent ahead of jadhav in this match,it was no brainer,situation was again made for him

of course situation was tailor made for. Anything to chase under 3 rrr is tailor made for him where he can come in, take the momentum out of a chase, tuk tuk and then tonk a few boundary every 5 overs, while the guy at the other does all the work

ODI Updates -

 

1. That SL is a team at the bottom of the barrel and unless they can find one or two top drawer players, they risk being considered minnow in the future. They have come a full circle here.

 

2. That Ashwin and Jadeja are overrated spinners in ODIs and that there are better options available

 

3. That Bhuvi and Bumrah are top class end over bowlers and probably the best in the business today

 

4. That Yuvraj Singh should have never been brought back into the team and should not have played the Champions Trophy

 

5. That Dhoni still has a little bit of gas left in him and could contribute for another few months or even couple of years.

 

6. That Rohit can bat in ODIs in Sri Lanka
