Dhoni is fooling everyone. I feel bad for the blind followers. I know it takes humility and maturity to admit mistake but you guys need to. 5 runs freaking 5 runs. What a shame.

Ohh but he scored in SL.

Look at his average.

dhoni in this form is done.

He would have made 25(30)*if phaast bowler Faulkner had played.

I did not understand the astresik "*"

Dhoni clearly is done. He will still score against teams with poor fast bowling resources like srilanka or west indies and against bowlers who bowl mid 130s at max. Nothing wrong with Dhoni it's just natural that hand eye coordination comes down with age and you become a shadow of what you were.  We play him 2 years later in 2019 at the crucial number 5,6 positions and we are probably going to repent much like how we played Ashwin Jadeja in CT not realising that LOI game has moved on with finger spinners.

This! Very well written post.

in what delusional world, do you think a guy who is easily the best limited overs keeper in the nation, has the highest average this year so far (and this year is almost done), 4th highest runs scored and 5th highest strike rate, needs to be dropped ?

Sorry, but your agenda against Dhoni is showing when you back a noob with failures in A-tours as an option over a guy who's performance is far, far above the average performance required by a wicketkeeper in LoIs.

We are talking about current dhoni. Quit living in past. I was his fan too but there is a time for everything.

He is a liability, will be eaten for breakfast by genuine quicks on any pitch.

he will be eaten not only for breakfast but for dinner, lunch and dinner too. Maybe mid day snaks also.

You think saha is a reserve keeper for LOIS lol. You know nothing Ghonto.

Dhoni averages high because he shuts shop at the other while the other guy does all the work and then score some freebies.

Pant is way better against fast bowlers than Dhoni is. The only thing where Dhoni edges out is use of DRS and regular stumpings.

These guys know it and still argue.

In odis most teams have one or two bowlers who can bowl around 145+. Those guys usually bowl at the beginning and then come back to bowl the 33rd over... just the time when Dhoni usually comes on strike.  And if teams plan to bowl to Dhoni on his midrib he may just struggle.

And i am talking about his stats from this year. Current Dhoni is way better than anyone else in India, that is a fact.

his problem seems to be spin , not the pace

That sweeping, zhaadu style does remind me of Dhonis graceful batting style, what a looser, won't even retire, has been hanging on like a leech for last 4 years.

News from the dressing room was Dhoni influenced the match to be called off because he can't keep in rainy and cloudy conditions because it supports fast bowlers due to his fingers.....there you go

can you guess our batsmen who cnat handle even a slight bit of swing ( even from the likes of kulasekara ) ?
