Who else is really enjoying Indian Test Cricket?

Motion seconded- we haven't had this competitive a test team since January 2011 (tests series before the World Cup 2011). We basically suffered 4 years of excruciating pain until Kohli took over the reigns. Spirited away wins against SL and Winides and crushing home win against South Africa- after that I was confident that we were back.

Yes its the constant improvement and things like hunger to whitewash and bounce back from losses (which used to crush india or be absent from the team attitude), and genuine competition for spots that gives me confidence in the team.

I mean, we're taking most likely the best combo of pacers in indian test/cricket history to SA, with a positive team that has developed a winning and aggressive culture.

Very excited.

excited about the pace bowling, they will do very well in SA and out bowl their SA counter parts as for the first time ever they are faster than them and almost as good ( Rabada and Philander are as accurate as Bhuv/Shami but have home advantage).

Not happy that we do not have a wrist spinner, but the two finger spinners are no 1 and 2 so there is now way to ignore that. Hoping Ashwin will do better this time, odds are Jaddu will do very well.

Not happy that out batsmen have not show dominance in away tests often or have folded a few times, so wonder if an improved overseas pace attack with favorable conditions because of toss would make this team loose a game. Sure that Vijay/Puj/Kohli will do well, wonder what Rahane will do ? Unhappy that KLR wont start first game, hope Dhawan scores a blinder.

Not happy that the slip cordon drops many catches. No rectification in sight, this could decide the series.

If its a true pitch which gives no undue advantage to any side this side will win everywhere.

One of the reasons I am enjoying is the high quality Indian bowling-Spinners are top level obviously especially at home but never have I ever imagined a day when I will be eager to watch Indian fast bowling.

Hell even Ashwins batting and Jadeja’s batting(in a train wreck kind of a way) are entertaining to watch.

Wicket Keeping is top notch.

Indian batting well is Indian batting an art in itself

Slip catching is the only thing running it for me.

Have enjoyed the home dominance, now time to do just something similar or close to this in overseas condition and this team could go down as one of the greatest even without better players like Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman, Sehwag.

@ThePhenomenal1 we have played a lot of home series. Now comes the real part. So, wait until 2018 ends before we can conclude if we are doing good, or Tigers-at-subcontinent-only. (WI/Zim don't count). RSA and Eng tours are vital.
