Name some good hacks in domestics for LOIs?

10 years of the IPL and we don’t have one good big hitter who can come in down the order  and score 150-175+ strike rate lower down the order.

 

Even in IPL the monster hits and acceleration is left to either foreign players or existing big names from the Indian team.

 

While I don’t think Hardik is a hack obviously but most times it is him along with the top order Rohit,Dhawan,Kohli who have to do the hitting...Jadhav,Pandey,Iyer,Karthik are all  batsman who are more boundary hitters than big hitters.

 

Apart from MSD,Yuvi in their prime who are done and Yusuf Pathan I haven’t seen one lower order batsman capable of playing a quick cameo like that which most foreign teams seem to have.

 

likes of Bhuvi,Ash and Jaddu seem to have a good technique and are not exactly big hitters.

 

Any lower order bat who can hit the big 6s? Doesn’t have to be an allrounder.

 

Surya Kumar Yadav was one guy but doubt he can smack 135+ bowling in international cricket.

We need a lower order hitter who can smash both fast bowlers and spinners alike.. few of them can hit spinners around but not quality fast bowlers.

Pathan sucks now and Samson has a medicore strike rate as per his stats in domestics. That's now what we need really.

Samson is more of a proper batsman . I dnt think so domestic stats shud be taken srsly as domestic Odi are poorly organized. 

Will take India-A games and heck even ipl more then them

No I agree I don't really take domestic List A matches either. If we are looking for a big hitters down the order, then Samson is not the guy. But as you said if we are looking for a proper batsman in the top order maybe if iyer doesn't work out, then Samson could be that guy. As of now, if we are looking for quick players down the order, there are better players than Samson that should get a nod first.

If iyer doesnt work , which i think wud happen in overseas we we shud switch to KL rahul n back him. No better then him

Not only hitter we need player who can add like bowling which is the need of team as none in our batsman bowl . So that cuts out many options n leaves krunal, shankar, gowtham ....and shankar isnt one who can start hitting from ball 1 . With krunal watever i hve seen he may have a similar issue to raina with short pitch stuff but hopefully at 6 and 7 he wont get much of them

Iyer,Pandey or Jadhav have not shown the ability to clear the rope against 140+ bowling comsistently.

Samson,Pant,Kishen I have bigger hopes for them to be the mainstay of the batting for years to come...I am talking about a guy like Pandya even minus the bowling ability who can even take on  anyone>135 and smack them for a few

England Forget his name who can give it an almighty thump.

 

Gony is another guy I can think of but think he is done.
