Rightarmfast
I am happy for Paras Mhambrey. He was someone who so close to being in the Indian team, but could not make it. Read and watched a lot of him around 94-95ish till 98 roundabouts. Happy he is contributing well. Hope he keeps the good work going too`! Mosher 1 Link to comment
PBN
If Nagarkoti can exploit swing along with pace with the new ball, he'd be quite explosive. Mavi has got it to swing a bit early on. IIRC, they were bowling a bit too short and got wickets when pitched it up a bit Link to comment

vishalvirsingh
i think Nagarkoti is genuinely into the Umesh and Varun Aroon category in terms of Pace. i dont expect out n out pacer to be very good as a ODI Pacer like Jasprit Bumrah. Nagarkoti and shivam both are good but i guess nagarkoti is a shade better. Vilander 1 Link to comment
NameGoesHere
I particularly loved Nagarkoti's action- it was like a well oiled machine working with grace to do what it does best. Guys here's a subject- which Indian fast/ medium fast bowler's actions have you liked the best? Kapil Dev had a lovely action. Srinath was also pretty cool. Nagarkoti's is in the ballpark. Ellipsism
Mavi can build on his pace, he’s the most athletic of the two. Currently needs to get rid of that head jerk. Link to comment
Mosher
Article on Mavi from Cricinfo. Why are some of the coaches still hell bent on reducing pace and concentrating on accuracy? Why not aim for BOTH pace and accuracy??? Good thing Mavi didn't take that advice seriously else he would have been just another trundler in a sea of trundlers. This solid understanding of his bowling stems from dealing with that old knee injury. He lost out on a year after doing damage to the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in his left leg and was advised to focus on accuracy upon return, a suggestion he didn't heed. But he modified his action and bowls open-chested now, allowing him to bring the ball back in. "I used to be an outswing specialist, but then I became an inswing bowler because of the injury," Mavi says. "My body started falling a bit towards one side, so I started working on that and worked on inswing." http://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/22204786/young-focused-very-fast express bowling and maniac 2 Link to comment
SecondSlip
Has Ishan Porel recovered from his injury? Will he play in the QF? Arshdeep Singh isn’t impressive. Porel will be much better than him. Link to comment

MCcricket
Sadly what we r lacking is the will to play youngsters at all levels, n youth should be the supply pipeline n life n blood of any team, or you stagnate n invite mediocrity. Link to comment
Mosher
Nagarkoti's 3 wickets today. The slip catching is just brilliant. Check out the last wicket with the offstump going for a walk. https://streamable.com/2uw4w express bowling, sarchasm, PBN and 1 other 2 2 Link to comment
nsareen
Porel dint even cross 130 average at 125k, Arshdeep was a shade faster than this. I understand he is coming from injury, but he was bowling quite within the limits..Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment

Its good that he played today and bowled within himself. He will be more relaxed and he will surely bowl quicker in the semis. express bowling 1 Link to comment

Front on bowlers generate pace with their runup but his runup today was very gingerly. nowhere close to this best. When he runs hard, he generates both pace and bounce. He was a shadow of the bowler i saw in the ranji game against Vidarbha. Link to comment

Yes based on that we were assuming he might be a 145-150 k bowler but even in the first match he bowled in low 130s.Is he really a 140 k bowler or hes just injured? Link to comment
