sensible-indian
Yes, this thread could backfire on me bad. But I believe in our team. I have a feeling we are going to fight tooth and nail today. Every single player is going to give it ALL they got. This Indian team came back in Bengaluru when they were truly down and out with the series almost gone. This team has a lot of resilience and ALL the pent up anger, hurt and frustration is going to come out on the field in the form of performance. This is going to be glorious day of cricket. Spartans, tonight we dine in hell. Edited January 16, 2018 by sensible-indian tweaker, SLICKR392 and sandeep 1 2 Link to comment
Sonix768
I honestly don't understand how can anyone give up hope on India's chance here. This pitch is basically Asian pitc hright now. And I don't see SA survive Ashwin today for more than a session. So we are chasing around 200 again. But this time we will do it. SA don't have enough bowlers to trouble us in the 4th,5th day crumbling pitch. Philander will be ineffective, Morkel will be tired. We can deal with Maharaj easily. Ngidi and Rabada might trouble for some time due to their pace but they also won't be able to sustain constant pressure like they did in Cape Town. We are winning this. Link to comment
adi B
On field under kohli I have no doubt we always give our best and you get a feeling every time the game gets away from us that we'll somewhere down the line make a comeback, but it's the batting which is too shabby atm and I don't trust them surviving 100 overs or chase 250+ SLICKR392 1 Link to comment
Temujin Khaghan
we are 9 players... they are thirteen... (South Africa XI +rohit + parthiv) its not a fair fight... 9 versus 13 Link to comment
flat_wicket_bully
If we can somehow get ourselves to chase around 250, there is still a minor chance if our batters dont throw their wickets away like in the first innings. But what are the odds of that happening Link to comment
chapetmarunga
SA will give us 350 plus runs to get & we will barely get 150 + Edited January 16, 2018 by chapetmarunga Link to comment

swapnil123
Fight and aggression is one thing, skills another. Ashwin took 0 wickets even against a left hander, he's not gonna do much better. Indian pacers..... Yeah they have no hope Link to comment

kubrickian
Not enough firepower in bowling. ABD will take SA to a position where they cant lose. India will fold within 150. This is my prediction. Link to comment

sensible-indian
Lol. We did fight with the ball i suppose but couldn't handle the uneven bounce of the new ball by sa Pacers. Conditions will likely ease out tomorrow as ball gets old but we may not have the batsmen to capitalize by then. Did our bowlers do enough today? Less said about our batting, the better. There were a lot of reason to believe we would fight hard looking at this team's past history. To a certain extent, bowlers did fight hard. Batsmen were just too poor. The pitch is solid to bat on even now. Just had to keep out a few low bounce deliveries. We didn't play as a team. Everyone is mentally down.
