broken_wings Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 (edited) Fans are being too harsh on MI bowlers. Fizz, Bhumra has not bowled that bad if you compare their overall performance. A bowler is bound to get smashed at the death overs. It's their bowlers who every time fought hard and made small target defendable. The blame should go to the batters who consistently failing to capitalize good start. You can't ask bowlers to defend 150-160 odd runs to defend in a small ground. Despite defending small targets, bowlers are taking games at the last overs. Opting to bat first in a night game in a small ground shows the lack of confidence in batters to chase and also putting bowlers to bowl in wet condition (dew) where it's hard to grip the ball in night time is not helping MI's cause.
