Shame another Indian Muslim player is being singled out because of his religion.

We don't know who is the victim here , but we do know the victim and the abuser are both muslims .So what is the basis for your stupid comment?

His wife is dragging him through mud to the court. How does it become a religious issue?

What Shami does off-field, as long as its not criminal, is of no concern to ours. What he does on the pitch, behaviour-wise, is of concern.

Wrong. These are serious cases of attempted murder, rape, domestic violence, abuse, adultery. And had he been a ordinary man working in a decent company or MNC, he would have already been suspended and most likely sacked plus would be barred from society. He is a celeb so is getting benefit of doubt which an ordinary person wouldn't.

I'm not certain about attempted murder, must have said in a fit of rage without meaning it.

All men are like Shami. Why BCCI cancelled his contract? As long as he is performing well its none of BCCI business what Shami do in his private life. BCCI have no problem with Indian players in IPL parties doing sharab and kababs but hell break lose when a Muslim player just flirts with a girl online.

Firstly you seem to have a very low opinion of all men. No , all men are not bad.

Which other player has a wife going to police complaining about domestic violence, rape and attempt to murder?

Bcci has clarified  that they have stalled his contract temporarily till things get clear. The offences his wife has accused him of are all serious criminal offences which will mean he will spend his time in jail or running around courts.

Why should they keep him employed if he is not going to be available for playing ?

Besides having a player accused of such serious crimes is bad for brand India cricket and they as employees have every right to protect their brand.

Sreesanth was also accused of getting girls to his room and fixing ( which haven't been proved in court) , still he is completely banned inspite of getting a clean chit from court. What is his religion ?

Dont change goal-posts now. You said fast bowler. Srinath was a fast bowler.

As for producing a world class bowler, Pakistan hasn't produced a world-class bowler or world-class batsman since the late 90s. (ie, since Akhtar and Younis Khan debuted). India has produced plenty of atleast one category (batsman) since then.

What is Ashwin then

Flirting is haram in Islam, even you should single out shami and bash him :Giggity:

These are allegations. If the above is proven, sure, ban him by all means and toss him in jail. Adultery is irrelevant to the professional career. Ordinary men don't get fired for these type of allegations from a spouse either.

It not just adultery but many serious crimes. And had such allegations occured to any common man, his job, career, social rep would have already destroyed. So Shammi is lucky that as a celeb he still has support.

BCCI shouls really suspend him offically till verdict is announced. He is already lucky that he isnt sacked yet.

Disagree that they are destroyed on the basis of an allegation from a spouse. Infact, celebrities are more under the microscope, as they make the papers and are pre-judged on it like you are. Nobody pre-judges Ram Singh nobody on such allegations before it goes to court .

Nothing should happen to him till the allegations are proven in court.

What's her current age btw?

Her ex-husband said that she was studying in Class 10th when they got married. Is it true that she was a cheerleader for KKR in 2010-11?

Shami is 1990 born so I suppose she should not be anything beyond mid 20s. I did a google search on her cheerleading stint but couldn't find any photos.

Shami should just accept all the affairs. It is not criminal to have affairs. There are enough proofs that he slept around with other women.

I think domestic violence, rape charges are very serious and i really think she doesn't seem like a person who would just tolerate that for years. She is just trying to hurt him due to him having affairs.

A bit offtopic but an interesting thought none the less :-

Listening to the whole mohammad shammi controversy and a pakistani girl being involved, if the same controversy had happened to a pakistani player with an Indian girl involved then the phateechar fans of phattecherstan would have cried and whined about it being a India's plan to sideline their player who was going to become the next wasim and since Indians are jealous of their "tailunt" they set up their innocent player :hysterical:
