Decide one thing brother Again you misconstrue my point, where did I say pant's ipl performance alone should be the criteria for his selection in international cricket, Pant should be given a proper run in international cricket based on his performance in domestics and his overall potential and if he fails in international cricket after consistent chances then he should be sent back to domestics. We have already seen dhoni's performance in international cricket for a long time so his IPL performance can't fool us since we know he's totally inept in international t20s but pant should be give a chance to show what he's got at the international level, unlike dhoni chamchas we are not stuck on one cricketer, we are willing to change our opinion if the player doesn't deliver unlike chamchas who are clutching to the straws based on dhoni's knocks in pyjama league. And if one or two international matches are good enough to discard a youngster than god save indian cricket.
