JourneyMan Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Why are you booting Jaddu out if we havent even seen him play yet? Also, do you really want to kick out Rahane? You cant change the squad every second match. As of yet, only Karthik and the openers need scrutiny. The rest have been ok.

GolGappe Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 If India wins this, then there won't be any changes in the squad. Shaw could have replaced one of the openers but with 2 50+ stands, Dhawan-Rahul combo wouldn't be interfered with.

Brainfade Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 A radical idea: Send Umesh Yadav to Duleep Trophy and replace with Mohammed Siraj. Send Shardul Thakur to Duleep Trophy and replace with Gurbani. For Test 4, rest Shami and draft Gurbani in the XI. The guy just did a 27-5-81-7 in a Duleep match. He will be brimming with confidence, has his rhythm going, will be a new commodity for Poms, can swing the ball and is a perfect understudy for Bhuvneshwar. Rest Ishant and draft Siraj in the XI. putrevus 1
BlueBee Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Maybe we'll see Shaw replacing Vijay in the squad. But don't see him playing now that both openers got a good partnership in both the innings. Would also like to see Siraj replacing Shardul. Don't see any other drastic changes.
