Imagine if we had Pant and an extra spinner in the first test instead of Dk/Vijay and the batting A/R :om:

Too much to expect from a debutant

I think the most important thing I saw in his batting was confidence, that would've made a huge difference in the first test, not so much in the second.

dumb threads like this one reflect badly on the IQ level of this forum

As opposed to the infinite dumb posts defending that fraud?

what fraud?

You know, the batting A/R who's not supposed to take wickets (fifers) or score fifties, hundreds. That fraud.

Care to explain

You can remove dead weight unless there are losses with this Indian team. Kohli is very stubborn he will stick to experienced veterans.

Do you really not understand what he is referring to. He is talking about Hardik Pandya!!! who in fact is pretty good allrounder in LOIs IMO.

What exactly do I need to explain, how is this "work in progress" doing so far in 2018 -MznNse6.png

I know. But he is making up irrelevant criteria .... and when the main problem have been the specialists

So? Have you compared his batting average with the specialist batsmen in those games? .... Have you seen the number of balls that he has bowled?

You, like many of his fans keep going back to that non sequitur, which specialist has Pandya replaced? He's not better than any top 6 batter, mind you coming at 6 is much easier to bat in SA, NZ, Aus, Eng than the top 3 or 4 in the lineup. He's also the only one who has played all tests after Kohli, so he's not scared of his spot!

Talking about his bowling, well there's no to say unfortunately, anyone who compares this guy to even Watson must be his die hard fan.

Irrelevant discussion

Irrelevant discussion .... for a start, why does he have to be better than any of the specialist batsmen?

Then what is he doing taking up a spot of someone like say Jadeja, who would've been handy at Edbaston? If he's not better than any of the alternatives playing, or in the shed - what's he doing out in the middle?
