I have only said he should be moved to the middle order if he is to be in the team still. He doesn't have an opener's technique in my opinion. Only India fans, particularly Rahul fans, are talking about conditions which shows it's an excuse. The commentators are objective for the most part. I trust their opinion on the conditions more than fans. Also FYI, Rahul played at 3 at Birmingham and scored 4 and 13... I am not sure what to say. Scoring 20 or 30 is a failure. And where did I claim that you said he should be dropped. You keep talking abt eng commentrator if condition are not tough tell me how many batsmen scored more Than 300 in this 5 match series. These same eng commentrator when get belted in India never miss an opportunity to mention rank Turner. Why would they say their home condition harsh where the toss deciding the outcome of game. Btw how many batsmen scored combined total of 300 in this series.

Whether it's pujara or rahane there run hardly mattered on the outcome. Btw cook averaged around 44 in just concluded series against Pakistan. If you go by win-loss results, all the runs and wickets are meaningless this series except in the 3rd Test we won, so Hardik Pandya would be our MVP... According to Sky Sports team Cook has scored a double recently but otherwise is under-performing the last 1-2 years. I don't follow English cricket, so I am just going by what the Sky Sports guys said. Tibarn 1

Lala Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Good fight by young guys. Positive batting. That's what we expected as fans. give a fight regardless of the results. Well done. zen and Kothili 1 1
Kothili Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Well played Kiddo...keep going...get a big one. You might juast about redeem yourself with some batting. All your keeping misgivings could be forgiven.
zen Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Youngsters are coming to the party. Missing Shaw and Pandya though
Lala Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 If India won, this is a record breaking match. Happy to see pant & rahul coming to form.
Laaloo Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Come on pant. You do not want to get out to pie chucker Joe root.
Sachinism Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Root looking a bigger threat already. Mainly due to the angle he bowls at
Nikola Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 England needs just one wicket here and India have to bat like this till tea without giving wicket and then think what can be done.

Btw how many batsmen scored combined total of 300 in this series. The English commentators know the conditions at their home better than Indian fans(including myself) who watch their matches once every 2-3 years. None of them criticized the conditions we played in except during the 2nd test when Botham and Nasser said we were unlucky to lose the toss and that the English got the better of the conditions. Otherwise the conditions were the same for both teams and none of the pitches were unplayable. Not just by run scored but by intent...you were talking abt rahane 50....as soon as kohli got out in 4th test everyone and even rahane knew he can't do shits . Even English were overly joyed as they knew match was done there. And yes Pandya was MVP on that match which we won, guy took 5 wkt in the span on 30-35 balls and won the match was definitely an MVP.
kruiser Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 flattering to deceive.. get the same feeling as ODIs in the 90s.. we will get close, within winning distance and then collapse! Hope I am wrong, but feels like a wicket is imminent.
Adi BB Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 If these guys try to score runs quickly and get out in the process ,kohli and shastri will claim big that " they were going for their shots to chase the target and in the process lost their wkts" lol . that's how deluded these two are and take the janta for granted
