raki05 Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 No need to scrutinized him too much he is the best in the indian t20 lineup. He hardly gets chances in loi, please let him play .we know what pressure of expectations can do to players even greatest of the game hasn't been spared from it. RAZPOR 1

His t20 performance can't get him chance in 50 overs otherwise with 50 avg and 160 sr. He should have been always in the playing xi. UrmiSinhaRay 1

If Raydud can get chance in ODI's from his ipl performance then International T20 is still better platform for Rahul to perform and make comeback?! The Dark Horse and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1
SUMO Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 (edited) I must say his range is godly...he can dwarf inform rohit/kohli on his day or become a tailender other day. Edited November 5, 2018 by SUMO Stan AF and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1
Stan AF Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Primarily, Loss of Confidence after getting dropped and absolutely not sure of anything within the team setup. UrmiSinhaRay 1
rtmohanlal Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 no match temperament & mental toughness what so ever. He only has some talent.... that's all UrmiSinhaRay 1
Global.Baba Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Will have a turnaround like the LOI ATG Rohit . Mark my words UrmiSinhaRay 1

Mark my words Rohit was lucky enough that SRT/Sehwag/Gambhir retired/declined at roughly around the same time and a couple of slots opened up at the top of the order. Do you think Rahul will have the same sort of luck? Because clearly it's not gonna work out for him in the middle order. UrmiSinhaRay 1

His best shot is Dhawan’s decline but Dhawan will get a loooooong run thanks to friendship with Kohli. Also With Guys like Pritwi Shah making an impact, it doesn’t look too good. Again his best bet here is Kohli’s reluctance to try youngsters. so basically almost nothing he can do, all dependent on external factors. Can’t even say cashing in opportunities is an option because players get dropped after 300s or winning man of the tournaments to accommodate friends and relatives. UrmiSinhaRay 1

vvvslaxman Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 His percentage game has to improve vastly. It is almost like he could get out anytime unlike some batsmen who only have issues in the first 10 overs. UrmiSinhaRay 1
The Realist Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Good player with touches of brilliance. But seems mentally weak to become a sure pick and does not seem to have the hunger to take it to the next level. Switchblade and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1
Straight Drive Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 Test average of 38 and ODI average of 35 is just about average. Needs a better test and ODI average, as simple as that. UrmiSinhaRay and Switchblade 1 1
