Strategy for next 2 sessions

India should look to get 85-90 runs in post lunch session and then go after bowling in post tea session with another 110 runs. Come back tomorrow and score another 50 maybe to declare at 530-540?

Run scoring still looks difficult. Ideally try to score 3, 3.5 runs per over till the third new ball. Then go berserk with the harder ball. Maybe Aus won't take it.

Bowl at least 8 to 10 today.  So that leaves about 50 overs from now.  Aim to get around 200 in those.

Get 150 in next session and half and declare. Batting till tomorrow will lower India's chances of winning and match will end in draw

It's not easy to score runs here ,but India need to target 450 and bowl around 10 overs before eod

We must score 450+ to not put pressure on ourselves when we baf 2nd. 

 

Rohit+Rahne+Pant+Jadeja are capable of scoring 130 + from here combined, so that should take us beyond 450.

 

Ideally we should have had 500 with the start we start we had woth our top 4 players, but I will take somewhere near 475.

Yeah they suck so they won't. Well if we play 30 more overs, we would be somewhere around 460ish

Are you watching the game or seeing the scorecard? It is tough getting runs, it was a game of attrition. I am glad Indians approached the game in accumulation mode rather than slam bang mode.
