Saha was good for state but not for Team India. Well , Bengal contribution to Indian international cricket has been very poor, and I still hold that opinion. Saha was one of the greatest pure keepers the sport has seen and an integral part of our rise to top spot. Not good for India you say !!!! Bengal cricket has been underwhelming but no need to throw insults. Many states have done poorly in Ranji Trophy, worse in fact. That Bengal has made 13 finals appearances shows we have some quality at the domestic level. Leaving it now, don't want to digress. His keeping was very good, but he wasn't flawless. He too has dropped catches like other keepers, although he did not drop as many as others did. His fitness is also an issue as he gets injured and he misses months while recovery.

Till last year he didnt used to swing/seam the ball that much but since Africa tour he has been consistently getting movement. In England in some spells he was getting more movement that our specialist fast bowlers.
