His two best knocks are the 36* in the 2007 SF against Aus and the 2011 WC final. Apart from that it’s all hollow. Failed in the 2011 QF and SF. Failed in 2007, 2015 WC apart from a meaningless knock against Aus when the game was over. Failed in the 2007 T20 WC F against padosis. Failed in the 2017 CT final againdg padosis. bahubali
Apart from that WC final most of dhoni great knocks are in useless biletral against mediocre so or wi or on subcontinent pitches. Don't know y this guy hyped so much. He is great as a keeper batsmen but telling him best from India in odi bat is nonsense. As a keeper bat he is definitely best from India not as pure bat in odi. maniac, speedheat, Laaloo and 1 other 4 Link to comment

He didn't even try. We pretty much won all 3 due to thalaiva first one where he hid behind jadeja. 2nd one after he got caught doing hanky Panky with meyeppan and the last one was the funniest where he played for Mumbai’s indians against Pune. Dil Dil India
11 hours ago, R!TTER said: The final isn't the biggest match of the tournament if you don’t even make it to the finals, everyone saw how selfishly he played just for his avg in 2015 semi & gave up with 25/20 overs remaining, he also failed in the quarters against BD In 2011 he had the luxury of Yuvraj/Raina coming after him, everyone knows his record when there is no one to bail him out at the other end Why are you qualifying your argument with ifs and buts. The biggest ODI match that a person can play is the ODI final - you don't win a trophy scoring 100s against Namibia and Kenya. The point is the OP is a very selective list; therefore, if we are cherry picking Tendulkar is an utter failure in the 2 biggest matches he ever played. Crap on Dhoni's WC final knock all you want, but Tendy would have retired without a WC if it hadn't been for that knock. For that alone, Tendy should send Dhoni presents every day of the week.
