sergio04 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 If Rohit and kohli both gets out in single digit score Then India won't score above 200.
zen Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Depends upon the surface. On good batting wkts if others can get the opportunity to play themselves in like the top order does, yes

vvvslaxman Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Pandya can't cross 50. Pant is still in early stages. Jadhav useless. Dhongi useless. Rahul in self-preservation mode. At best 225. Rohit + KOhli = India (almost)
NameGoesHere Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Quote WIll India be able to cross 200, if Rohit and Kohli fail? I will add another possible variable to this (eminently possible) scenario. What if Bumrah + another bowler have a really off day? Broadly if three people (tailunt, captain and boom boom) in this team fail on the same day, we could end up losing to any team in this wc, including AFG. That's the lack of depth in this side.

Real McCoy Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Another thread for wristslitting. Our team has won 6 and lost 1. By looking at ICF, one may be thinking India has missed the knockouts Rasgulla 1

In all likelyhood, we will play Eng in Semis, imagine a scenario, India is 15/2 in 7 overs... There is nobody other than these two hitting big. Pandya, Pant will hit attractive 40s. Dhoni will suck blood out of #6 bats and tail, refusing singles as though he is a bahubali master blaster, I hope Rohit gets 2 more 100s in KOs.
Rasgulla Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 300 questionable... 200 easily with Thala even 250! Nikola 1
DGBOSS Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 If Rohit and Kphli both fail then lIndia will be 1 man team - Bumrah

I think Rohit should be rested for the game against SL. They are his favorite opposition and he might score another century against them, but the law of averages will catch up in the semi final. It's better he takes rest and keeps himself fresh for the semi final.
