Real McCoy
Don't they have enough data already. Why the need for a chip unless its a soft move into ultimately chipping humans. They are already chipping products and cows in farms in the west. No normal human reads or processes the amount of data that is already put out on the screen. Yeah VK has 1000 runs when the ball pitches in this area with 120 SR. Who cares Link to comment
Nikhil_cric
Can't make a white ball that lasts 50 overs but yeah let's try and be creative . Link to comment

Khota
What all are they measuring? To embedd a IC in the ball it will definitely alter the aerodynamics of it. Link to comment
Khota
On a baseball you can have as much as 3000 N of force and an exit velocity of 130 mph, and assuming it is less in cricket have they mastered the technolgy to embedd an IC that can be subjected to such severe conditions. Then you need a battery that can survive those G forces. Sounds very ambitious. Then you need to transmit this data. This is a tough problem to solve. Link to comment
