What a USELESS player Krunal Pandya turned to be?

One bad game ppl go crazy, ppl have had bad games ....ppl have dropped catches even someone like jadeja

Dnt make one player bad after one game.....dig deep n ull realise pandya has perfomed a lot

 

He has played 17 games  in which he already has 3 MOM that to all in overseas

 

Now start counting good perfomances 

 

1. Against WI- 1/15 in 4 overs
2. Against WI- 4 overs 0/23......very good eco
3. Against Aus in Aus- 4/36.....Declared MOM
4. In NZ- 3/28 - Declared MOM
5. vs Aus - 1/17 in 4 overs.....very good eco
6. Against WI - 20/1 in 4 overs
7. against WI- 2/23 ......Declared MOM
8. 21 in 9 ball cameo against WI when we were struggling 
9. 26 in 13 ball in NZ cameo almost won us game

 

So he has 8-10 perfomances in an career of just 17 t20s , atleast check before making such threads

I don't care. Really need to have a specialist bowler in his place and a specialist batsman in place of Dube for team balance.

Personal bias if u dnt acre for perfomances.....check his career he has been as consistent as any specialist.

Not personal bias but these are hit and miss players. There will never be any consistent performance from them.

In t20 getting a m.o.m is no big deal. Sundar was the man of the series in first tournament based on a few tight spells.

 

There is a difference in getting a man of the match like Kohli’s knock in Wt20 vs Aus and getting man of the match for a 3-25 type of spell.

everyone is hit n miss....no one performs in every game

Even our main bowler chahal , bhuvi have got thrashing on days . Even our main batsman fail - lets not forget rohit n dhawan both have failed in last 3 t20WC 

 

So no one performs everyday

agree....its like we have Vettoris or Kallis lurking in every gully-nukkad that one mistake and everyone jumps on a guy. Krunal has definitely done above average considering his overall international record. Sometimes, ability to soak pressure and mental toughness count for more than talent. Anyone remembers Chris Harris? Absolute tripe dibbly dobbly bowler and handy bat, yet he was gold for NZ for many years. Krunal is somewhat similar to Mitch Santner - a decent player by all standards. If Krunal's bowling lacks variation, can't the coaches help him with that...instead of just dismissing him as trash? Likewise, hard-hitting batting allrounders who bowl medium pace are like gold-dust for Indian cricket, hence we need to show more patience with likes of Hardik, Dube, Riyan Parag.

Even if u have kallis n vettori 

U wnt play kallis at 7 .....he performed diff role for his team

Vettori wont do the role what hardik does

 

all have diff roles. Just becoz a batsman isnt elegant or a bowler isnt loopy or classical doesnt make them bad.

Players like Chris Harris make it to the side because only there are a handful of resources playing in Nzl.  Remember Gavin Larsen who played so many matches for Nzl? He was such a mediocre player.

 

As I said we have a strong cricketing structure and an actual pathway for players to get in. Yes we have flaws and mostly the power centers dominate the cricket but still it’s one of the best .

Blaming Krunal for the dropped catch, or Khaleel for the 19th over is one-eyed.

 

#2 and #3 batsmen scored 56 runs in 59 balls.  Including powerplay overs.  That's where the game was lost.  Dropped catch, missed review, etc was also bad.  But the biggest factor by far was the batting.

With these bits and pieces players you will see a pattern emerge. They will never be consistent.

Keep aside his batting and bowling.  His fielding is even more ******.    Dropped an absolute sitter near the boundary yesterday.    He will lose india matches based on his fielding alone.
