Recently my parents had some wood work done to our house in India and the carpenters were from UP and they were Muslim. They were all praises for Yogi for his steps in social development.

 

UP is a cesspool. It can’t be fixed over night.

I dont think the criteria is only about making BJP stronger . Has UP been better under him ? Still early days imo

Emphatic Yes. UP has become better.Nothing against Fadnavis. Its just that a PM has to be efficient at the same time Play dirty game of Politics better than most

I don't understand why this guy is called chanakya. He is doing silly mistakes

1) BJP should never had pre poll alliance with Sena . Any person reading the news know SS was more anti BJP in last 3-4 years than opposition.

 

2) The hurried move to take oath with ajit pawar dented BJP image. 

 

He is only good at dealing with small parties O/W he is just another politician.

Hindsight is beautiful. Without SS, BJP wouldn't have reached 105. The onus is on it's supporters groups actually turning up to vote. They simply didn't and the low voter turnout messed up the results for BJP.

 

The Ajit Pawar move was a needed gamble, it showed the opposition is also divided and BJP can be ruthless. It's not going to sit quietly and the fight is still on... What makes you think that the opposition will survive together forever?

 

And this dented image is still nonsense, nobody is questioning Congress on their alignment with SS. Where is the Muslim leaders revolt?

Didn't they won 125 in last elections without SS ? Anyway if SS is so important then accept their term of 2.5 years cm.

What about " Naa khaonga naa khaane dunga aur jo khaaya hai woh ugalwaaonga? BJP if today is such big party its because non corrupt image of Modi. If BJP keeps on making alliances with deadly corrupt politicians then BJP will be back to pre 2014 position.

you are trying to be extra smart. In 2014, all 4 parties fought separately. In 2019, with NCP+ Con together , BJP had to be alliance with SS pre-poll.
 

And politics and diplomacy is about alliance and collaborations, nothing permanent. You can keep painting a pessimistic image of BJP. Yet, you dont apply the same question to Congress.

BJP treated SS like trash in 2014 and even in 2019 they gave them only 1 cabinet minister at Centre. This time too they made SS fight lesser number of seats. If SS is such an important ally that you can't win a state alone then you can't treat the way SS was treated.

Congress is already in very miserable condition. The way they fought Maharashtra and Haryana election tells you the story. So whatever they got in election is just bonus.

Thats rubbish. Alliances is two-way. Yet, SS constantly spoke bad about BJP in last 5 years. They treated BJP like trash, used the benefits of power yet spoke poison. SS contested a large share of seats than more than they really deserved,  both in LS / vidhan sabha. They just kept blackmailing BJP and this time, this CM demand was the limit. 

 

And today, corruption is free top-level and thats the biggest quality of Modi government and thus things are getting done relatively quick. If you expect all corruption gone , or low level corrupt leaders gone, its childish talks.

If because of Alliance with SS BJP won 105 seats then how SS contested more than they deserve? Sau baat ki ek baat and that is BJP today is loser so somewhere their master strategist something wrong

A deputy CM is low level corrupt leader ? and how do you know there is no top level corruption ? We had even earlier seen governments where there were no big scams.

I am not talking about Rafale . I heard lots of bad things about Nehru and Indira but never heard that they were directly involved in scam.

You keep shifting goalposts. Both SS/BJP asked votes on Modi, they had posters of him everywhere. Next, SS contested some 130 seats, yet won just 58. Thats a poor conversion rate. SS themselves are strong in certain areas in MH, and lack the general presence throughout the state. 

 

They always blackmailed BJP,  and BJP had to stick with them despite all their abuses. BJP couldnt have done anything else, they stuck and were committed to allies. Yet, SS or rather Uddhav had personal goals and thus destroyed everything...

Uddhav has achieved his personal goal of becoming the CM.
