He is hitting 145 clicks easily and i am sure with time he might hit 150 clicks occassionally.... T20s is not the best format to judge a bowler but it will give glimpse of what he can do..... If you have not seen yesterdays match, you missed something.... He is all condition bowler and test cricket is his best format which he didn't played yet.... Can't wait to see him in SA, Australia and England ... Hia debut has been delayed by 2 years but nevertheless he made it.... It's pity that he only got an opportunity when others got injured,othetwise he would still be bowling in the Ranji trophy. vice Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Saini is decent prospect especially in the longer format. That's where he can be the most exciting. In the shorter versions, like he stated himself pace alone isn't enough, you need some variation and more importantly know the correct line/length to bowl depending on the situation and conditions. However, he does possess a great yorker which can be immense. All that pace if not directed properly, can be cannon fodder and he'll need to be better at the death than what he's shown so far. He's already 27 and should've likely debuted and given experiences a few years back. Pacers will learn more quickly in an international game setting than bowling the same in domestics. Vk1 1

putrevus Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Saini is showing why youngsters have to be given multiple chances in format they have been chosen because you want develop youngsters who can play all formats.It is also wrong to remove fit seniors in test cricket so youngsters can get to play test matches.Test cap has to be earned not gifted. If it was ten years ago Saini would have already played test matches in multiple countries.It is always better for youngsters to play continuous domestic cricket than riding benches in test squad.
diehardpacer Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Saini should be ahead of Shardul/Bhuvi. Bumrah-Shami-Saini the new BSS attack would be a treat to watch overseas.
